The leg openings are wide enough to make the shorts comfortable and the length is flattering without showing your cheeks. I ’ m glad that I ’ ve purchased some of the great colors throughout the years that are no longer offered( pink, orange, macaw blue, collegiate navy, green, and nocturnal). I was trying to find a light weight, easy to clean( dry quickly) short to take on a trip to Italy. I wanted to pack light so I was looking for a short that didn ’ t wrinkle, was durable, not cheap looking and would dry quick. This short checked all those boxes. I ordered several colors in 2 sizes to make sure I got the right size. You can see through the lighter colors so I ended up getting the darker blue and black.
