[ This jacket is pretty much everything you want it to be for a running coat or rain coat or everyday wear coat!:) It is so thin, lightweight and the material is very stretchy. I love that it's made of 75% recycled material and is also waterproof. Cool! My favorites about this coat are in the details though!! The sleeves have elastic so you can pull them up your arms and they stay. The zipper pulls all have a little extender on them for convenient use and there is an elastic hook to hang the coat by. Probably my favorite detail is the design of the hood pulls. You can pull your hood tight and lock it into place with a stopper. But even more awesome, the stopper is on a loop with a little blocking washer so your strings wo n't get lost in the holes of the hood during wear or washing. Amazing design!!! The only thing I would mention here is that I am a woman and this is a mens coat so the design is very straight; no room for hips at all- so I would suggest getting a womens style coat if you are at all curvy. For me I just tuck it under. Also for a men's small to fit me perfect makes me think it may run a bit small( as I think most Nike items do). Overall, highly recommend.

I travel a lot for work and carry a heavy back pack, I replaced my small umbrella with this jacket. It rolls up pretty small and is a lot lighter than the umbrella, which helps with reducing weight of having to lug around through my travels. The stylish look combined with the light weight stretchy feel makes this jacket stand alone in my collection that I 'll resort to for many occasions and not just for a cloudy rainy day. It's also not like any other typical rain coats, this one does n't make you feel like you 're wearing a plastic bag and make you all sweaty. [ This is the 3rd Nike Windrunner we have gotten for our 3yr old son. They have quickly become our go- to light jacket and are definitely his favorite. When it comes to jackets for toddlers we are looking for jackets that look nice and are versatile. But that are easy to put on and easy to clean. The Nike Windrunner checks all the boxes. I especially love the all black color of this one as it will be even better about not showing dirt and staying clean. The all black look of this jacket makes it look even more premium than some of the brighter color combos we have. The white Nike logo really pops off the white, it looks nice but a tone on tone gray logo could be really sleek as well. The jacket is a little big for our son, but we intentionally ordered a size up so he could grow into and wear it longer. The fabric feels super premium and similar to his other jackets am confident this will last for a long time. Really happy with this jacket. As many parents know, it comes down to what is comfy and easy to put on. So we tend to put him in a lot of comfy athleisure gear. This all black jacket looks nicer than our other windrunners and will get tones of use. Never change the Windrunner, it is an all- time classic for parents and kids.

A comfortable elastic sits around your wrist and does a pretty good job of keeping the sleeves in place while not feeling tight. The fabric of this jacket is soft to the touch and extremely light, providing a comfortable wearing experience that does n't weigh you down. Even though the fabric feels delicate, it proved itself perfectly balanced-- able to keep me comfortable in the winter chill at the start of my workout and manage to not leave me overheated at the end. The jacket fit like a glove, yet I still felt like I had plenty of room to move without anything riding up or feeling too tight. There was enough room to be able to wear anything from long sleeve to just a sports bra without issue. The hem is asymmetrical, going from shorter in the front to a slightly longer back hem line. I loved this because it still allowed use of a running belt while keeping my lower back more comfortably covered. And did I mention the hood? Light, but providing full coverage so this jacket can demonstrate the full force of its water repellant ability. The hood was my favorite feature. I feel like hoods often do n't cover enough or stay on well enough as you move. This one had no issues with that. Oh, and the front pockets zip, so you do n't have to worry about anything flying out while you 're moving. There's a lot to love in this jacket, and it even includes a whistle tucked into the lapel that you can use when you 're running alone or need to call out to your running buddy. I do n't have any complaints, but if I had to change one thing, I would lengthen the sleeves and add thumb holes. I did feel like the elastic kept the sleeves down pretty well, but thumb holes are just that extra security I love when I run. Overall, this jacket fit great, looked excellent, felt comfortable, and kept me covered and at an ideal temperature from the start of my run to the end.

I 've had many UA cage jackets, but this is by far, the best! Adding the hood is a great idea, but I 've always longed for pockets; Bam! Pockets! Every cage jackets, short of long sleeved, needs pockets! The only thing that has me a little confused is the option to cut off the long sleeves; cover to short sleeve. I like the idea, but I 'm not about to cut up a high quality jacket. Why not just add zippers to the sleeves so that they need taken off/on as one pleases? It's make more sense and functional.

[ This trainer is SO soft! I ca n't get over how the inside of it feels like a yummy fleece but without the weight of a fleece jacket. In other words, I live in South Florida where it rarely gets chilly, but this is a great material for a cool morning walk or if you like keeping the AC low indoors! I am typically a size 18 on top and the XXL fits just right, so I would say this runs on the smaller side if you 're looking for a looser fit. [ I love my Nike Therma fit one top. It ’s sleek and sporty and super comfy. The fabric has tons of stretch for comfort and ease during a workout, but is a good thickness( not as thick as a fleece and not as thin as leggings) and matte and therefore very flattering. I had it on during one of those Fall days where you think “ it ’s probably 65 out ” but it ’s really 50 degrees. And I was plenty warm. I like the length of the top- it sits just below the hip. I am 5 ’ 7 ” and a size 8 in clothes and the medium is perfect with a tank top underneath. I love the soft gray color and subtle swoosh on the side( I usually don ’ t go for big logos!). The collar sits nicely upright with it unzipped. Only thing I noticed that I didn ’ t love is the small neck hole. [ This hoodie is EVERYTHING! It's durable and soft. It's lightweight and cozy. It's active and casual. I 'm not typically a pull- over hoodie girl, but, from the first touch I fell in love! It was too oversized and as a plus sized girl, that's a concern sometimes when getting men's cut apparel trying to convert the bust and hip. I typically wear wear a 22- 24 top in women's apparel and this 2XL felt perfect. So far I 've worn it out casually on a nice weather day, for yard work, and to run errands. It really holds up to different weather conditions. It is n't dri- fit so it does get a bit wet with sweat if it's a heavy movement day but it's light enough to layer under and take off as an outer layer to preserve it as outerwear. [ Weather in North Dakota can be unpredictable, especially in the spring. It is not unusual to have 30 degree mornings give way to 75 degree afternoons. Needless to say, dressing for the day can be a bit of a challenge, especially if one wants to work out. As such, I was pretty excited to try out this Nike Men ’s Hoodie. Somehow this sweatshirt effortlessly provides the warmth cool mornings requires while allowing the breath ability the afternoons requires. I ’ ve played a variety sports in my days and a sweatshirt is usually my go to in cooler weather. But this one may be my favorite. I love the material of this sweatshirt. It is the perfect balance of performance and comfort. The material isn ’ t too thick to be bulky during movements, but it isn ’ t so tight like so many other moisture wicking material. The only thing about this sweatshirt which took some getting used to was the front pocket. Instead of the slits being centered on the body of the sweatshirt, they are matched up with the side helm. My hands automatically went to the normal placement of a front pocket and I found myself search for where my hands go. However, I quickly was able to remember that they were further back. Nothing wrong with the design, just took some getting used to. If anything, I appreciate how the side pockets really elevate the silhouette of the sweatshirt- instead of the typical frumpy- ness of a front pocket, these side pockets allowed the sweatshirt to lie flatter against my body. Overall, I would highly recommend this sweatshirt for anyone looking for a good spring/fall layer to workout or for just lounging. Great material, weight, and shape.

[ This Nike Men ’s Trail Hoodie is a comfortable hoodie made for the outdoors and training. It has a relaxed fit but not oversize so it is not too bulky for outdoor activities. It seems to have a longer length which is great for those who are taller or have a long torso. The fabric is a cotton and polyester blend which feels smooth and soft on the outside. The inside is a bit textured and not fuzzy inside. While it is a lightweight fabric, it is still thick enough to keep warm and I wouldn ’ t call it a thin hoodie. I liked that even though the graphic on the front is large, it is really soft and clean looking. This hoodie is definitely not for long runs because the seams and tags on the inside would end up being irritating. It is good though to use during a warm- up or after a run. I appreciate that the front pocket is large and has a small seam in the middle that keeps small things from rolling to the other side. The drawstring on the hoodie is the same design as a pair of my trail running shoes which is a small detail which is a plus. The one thing I would probably add would be some reflective elements since the hoodie is entirely black and some visibility is always useful on the trails. This hoodie is a useful and good piece to have especially if you are a fan of the Nike Trail line.

[ This is one of the best jackets out there. The design and comfort feel effortless. This is the perfect weight to keep you sheilded from all the elements. It is so comfortable and the fabric is super soft and lightweight. It was truly thought out in the design to have the more breathable fabric under the arm to keep you from feeling over heated during your run. I did get to wear this in some misty/light rain and I stayed dry the entire time. My favorite thing about this jacket is definitely the material. It is different from anything I currently own. The one thing I was a little annoyed with was the front zippers have these nice toggles to grip on to. But the side pockets are just tiny metal traditional toggles that I found hard to open using one hand, not even running. Overall all I think this is a perfect jacket for an all season runner and will even be wearing this to run errands as I think it also just looks sharp.

[ When I first put this jacket on, I was pleased with how it perfectly fit. I typically wear a men ’s small and it was right on. The sleeves were not too short and were not too long, they were just right! While this jacket is thin, it provides more warmth than you ’ d expect. When I was moving out on a cool night, it was very comfortable — both the fit and the temperature. I did notice once I stopped it was a bit warm for me after a workout. The look of the jacket to me seems like something a runner would wear. Outside of exercising, I ’ d be willing to wear it casually, but probably not if I was on a date or somewhere that I wanted to impress. I purchased this hoodie for sun protection on a recent 9- day backpacking trip. I bought the light grey colour because I thought it could double as bug protection, since the mosquitoes were horrendous. I really liked how feather- light it was, it dried fast and the hood was great when the bugs were fierce. Furthermore, all the bug/blood/sweat stains cleaned up nicely after the trip and it looks good as new! As for durability and wind- proofness, I will bring it on my next two canoe trips this July and report back:)

The ONLY thing I would change about this: please move the pocket to the chest or somewhere more useful. It's on the right hip and goes backwards which is strange and not natural at all, I really dislike it. I 'd prefer it be on the chest( like the men's version) or even still on the hip but a zippered drop pocket( like the Freewheel Hoodie).

[ Being a busy parent chasing a one year old. It is hard to find time to exercise during the day. I can rarely find time to go for a run until night time and the temperature has been dropping significantly at night time. That is where this jacket has come in. Dressing for my run can be challenging and it changes every day. Lucky, this Run Visible Convertible Jacket is always in the mix. The quality is what I love the most. It ’s very thin and breathable yet the fabric is very strong. It won ’ t tear easily and it ’s sewn tightly in all the right places. The zipper is durable and doesn ’ t snag the fabric when zipping. This jacket can take some wear and tear from both me and Mother Nature and still hold up perfectly. The reflective material in the arms, wrist and other appropriate places gives me peace of mind. I tend to run in the evening when it starts to get dark. I feel comfortable that I ’ m visible to others without having to wear extra clothing or reflective bands. You also have the option to convert it to a jacket, vest, t- shirt, and tank top style. This comes in handy when running in variety of conditions like I do. Converting it to the different styles is a bit challenging at first but after you get the hang of it, you can do it quickly. You also have the option of the hood if need be. I ’ ve run in misty, windy, hot, and cool weather. I can honestly say that this handles any condition. It repels rain, blocks wind and works well in warm or cool conditions. This was before I saw it converted into a vest. HA HA! As a runner having options for arm protection is crucial. If you dress too cold, you 're miserable. If your dress too hot, you wear out and waste energy. This jacket eliminates this problem. It's great for unpredictable weather and my evening runs in the fall when it gets dark early. The pockets are a bit small and difficult to open. An arm pocket would be ideal. I like the ability to hide the hood. I ca n't stand a bouncing hood while running/ stretching. The vest is great when I 've warmed up and need to cool off. I also used the vest inside the jacket as a pocket for my water bladder. I know it's not what it was made for but it works great! I live at elevation, where weather conditions can change fast( and wind is common). I 've worn this jacket in a variety of conditions so far: rain/snow mix at 40 degrees,< sub- freezing temps and sunny, dark and 32 degrees. It's kept me warm without overheating, blocked the wind, and kept me dry during light/moderate precipitation. It's lightweight and packs up small, and is my new fav running item! It feels like it might run just a tad bit small in my opinion, so if you want a thicker layer under it, I might suggest sizing up.

I winter hike a lot in the white mountains of New Hampshire and I love this layer! It's perfect for ascents over my 300 weight wool shirt. I rarely sweat in it or need more than those 2 layers. If I do sweat it evaporates very quickly. It's very thin and lightweight however I barely need an additional layer in higher elevations. I have worn this in temps ranging from 10- 30 degrees F. It's amazing. I love the windbreaker aspect of it bc it either surprise snows or you brush up against trees while hiking and do n't get wet. You stay so warm with the fleece lining. Still ca n't believe how thin it is.

I 've had this piece out for a couple of runs now, and I really like it. It's quite warm- I was a bit too warm today in 2°C sunny weather- but it sheds heat well, and I was glad to have the warmth when the sky clouded over. This will be a jacket that I break out at 0C or below, personally, but I run hot. Lots of pockets, which are nice. Very soft and comfortable; flattering fit without being restrictive. Fit true to size for me( 5' 9 '' 160lb.) Only things I would change: it would be great if there was a drawcord at the hem, both to snug it up in colder/windy conditions and to stop the contents of the pockets from bouncing as much; and I find the wrists are n't stretchy enough to pull over a watch without a bit of effort.

So versatile. I wear this in 50 degree weather over a t- shirt to hike, or in 10 degree weather over a baselayer to xc ski. It layers under a shell well too. I 've been using this for a couple months now and really like it! I 've found it cuts ~75- 80% of felt wind and even as a softshell shrugs occasional rain pretty well. Mine wet out after about 25 minutes in light/medium rain and when soaked was n't transferring much water to my baselayer. Perfect when you really should 've brought a Helium Rain but you did n't. While not quite breathable enough for me when running unless its real cold( I 'm a warm person) it's great for everything less aerobic than that for me. The cuffs are elastic on the inside of your wrist which works well with a watch. The single hood cinch works well to keep your hood on while minimizing adjustments. Pocket linings double as vents, are big enough for a smartphone or light gloves, and are not sewn down at the top allowing you to stash your map or mail in a pinch. The Hood stow works well when you plan to use it, but I did find myself just tucking the hood inside if I was in a rush and could n't be bothered to roll it up. The hem cinch is located on the right side and is easy to adjust one handed and has low profile hardware which is fine under a backpack belt. I 'm 5'11/ 210#/ 43 '' chest and wear a Men's Large size tshirt and find the size large fits me perfectly with a trim fit. Key for me with fit is that in my other OR jackets like the Foray and Superstrand I 've needed to size up to XL to have the hem fit over my butt. Not so with the Ferrosi- the stretchiness of the fabric and cut works perfectly for me. I normally wear an echo or vigor top underneath mine and layer any insulation over. If I wanted to put insulation under the Ferrosi I would need to size up once. The jacket is lighter, and more flattering than my other windshell from another company. Combined with the comfiness of the stretch I 've found myself grabbing it when just going out running errands and it's almost always at the top of my pack heading out into the woods now.

I must say, I never thought I 'd replace my R1 as I 've had two. I took a shot on this because there was no zipper when in Balaclava mode. I live in this now! I 'm 6' 0, 175# and went with a Medium, I wanted to make sure it was form fitting and it is excellent. I 'll be wearing this as long as weather allows.

I am 5'10 '' and 160lbs and medium fits well. It is perfect snug level to fit under a lightweight down jacket and shell ski jacket in CO. It is more snug than I would want for an everyday shirt, which is maybe why some did n't like this? The hood and neck keeps me warm without choking me. It is super comfortable. I would recommend it.

So far I have only used this jacket for spring( alpine) skiing, at which it has been amazing! With temperatures in the low to mid 40s at the top this jacket, along with OR Trailbreaker pants and Gripper gloves, was warm enough, with just enough wind protection for riding the lifts and skiing fast, but breathable enough to prevent me from get sweaty and catching a chill. With temps below that I threw on an ultra- light softshell and was plenty warm.( Note that 1. I run warm when working hard and 2. I wear a hydration pack while skiing, without which it is possible my back would 've been chilly sitting on the lift) And it fits( size S, I am 5' 6 '' 145lbs) perfectly and looks great even just around town. So far one of my favorite items by OR( and I 've got quite a few of them) Looking forward to using this for snowshoeing, cool weather hiking etc.!

This thing rocks. Originally, I purchased this to do winter trail runs in, but have since used it to paddle, ice climb, mountain bike, backpack, and travel. I have found the Deviator to be one of the best if not the best light, active piece for me when it is chilly outside. The front/hood fabric has a good DWR and sheds light wind/rain well, while keeping just the right amount of heat in. I have found that it needs to be under 25F while running to keep myself from sweating, but with the other activities, I find it to be very comfortable in the 30- 45F range( when I am moving), even if it is windy. The zippers are a little fragile, BUT it is meant to be a lightweight piece. I have found that being patient with and keeping the zippers clean and waxed go a long way. I am a Medium/Large and bought a medium, which worked for me well. Overall, I love this piece. While it is not a replacement for a puffy, It retains way more heat than I expected for such a light jacket, especially when moving.

Man, this hoodie slaps. I primarily use it for days when it's cold but I need to get my miles in whether that be running trails/roads, snow shoeing or whatever else I do in the winter. The back is covered in what seems like waffle insulation which breaths super well so when I get hot, the excess heat has a place to go. It wicks sweat and keeps me feeling dry. The front has wind resistant panels that keeps warmth where it should be, and keeps wind out. It definitely fits snug in the arms so layering with a long sleeve base was a bit challenging considering how snug they are, but they are not too tight. I actually feel like the sleeves had a 1- 2 use break in time because now they seem more roomy and it's no longer a struggle to get a long sleeve skin tight layer on underneath. That's my experience, but not really a bad thing considering that putting on another layer over the deviator is that much easier. Please do not buy this piece expecting to hang out in 15 degree weather and to be toasty. This is an active layer that will absolutely keep you warm while you 're on the move. I use it for its intended use, and it produces a 5 star experience.

I absolutely love this hoodie and have ordered more in other colors. I hesitated at first due to the high cost, but this is worth it. The design keeps the wind out but lets your back and arm pit breath while running or wearing a pack. The fit is intentionally slim- fit, as the product can keep you warm that way. Paired with a base layer this keeps me warm in temperatures just below freezing while running or hiking. If it gets cold, I just throw a soft shell over this and it's perfect. I highly recommend this.

I bought this for visibility while running, but I think it will also be the perfect ski baselayer because of the gaiter/face mask and ponytail slot in the back. It's super warm but also lightweight, and the Sulfur color is gorgeous! I have really broad shoulders so I debated sizing up to a M or a L but ended up deciding on the M, and I 'm happy with my choice. Yes, it's a fitted top but it's supposed to be. It hugs the top half with a little bit more of a flowy( but not baggy) fit at the bottom. The arms are long with thumbholes to help hold them in place. This is high quality, and they need to restock all the colors!

Like some other comments have identified, this is a tighter fit so size up from your typical OR size. I am a 32B, 5' 7 '', and 118 LBS and I got the size S and it fits perfectly. I wear this to go running and hiking, and I can fit a wool base layer underneath on very cold days. Perfect addition to my outdoor apparel.
