Wonderful Shirt But Little Big
It's a little bigger than other shirts I've got from Carhartt if you want a more dressier look I would go down a size if you are getting it to work in get your normal size

Not So Heavy, Not So Loose Fit.
For being a "Loose fit heavyweight" Carhartt, it is a bit disappointing. I have several Carhartt shirts that are far heavier in feel and wear. And while I wear the same size across all of my Carhartts, this one is a bit snug through the shoulders and belly. I can wear it casually, but I would not wear it to do any real work, which is why I purchased it. It is almost as if this one was mislabeled in terms of weight and fit.

Very Pleased With Shirt
This shirt is great. I wanted a nice "thick" heavy flannel shirt like they used to be made back decades ago when I was a kid (I am 67). Nowadays, stores try to pass off their flannel shirts as rugged, but, in actuality they are made of the same thin material as a business dress shirt. So, I did extensive research on Google and discovered that old-fashioned flannel was 8 oz material. So, I searched for suppliers of 8 oz flannel shirts and was only able to find two: one was a store over-seas and the other was Carhartt - which was 1/3 the price. It was a no-brainer. The shirt is soft and comfortable and looks good... it is also very warm.

Great Quality, Sized Down.
Great quality. I am 175lbs 5'7" athletic build and I sized down to a small and it fits perfect. I was absolutely swimming in the medium. It is loose fit so I still have plenty of room to layer.
