Rated 5 out of 5 by from It’s a yeti, it’s well made Been wanting one of these coolers for a while but I held back due to cost. I know the saying “you get what you pay for” but I still didn’t want to spend the money. So I went and got a yeti wanna be and it didn’t do as I expected. Got another brand also yeti look a like and same thing, it was ok but not what I was looking for and it leaked. So it was time for me to get my beloved real yeti. Tried it out precooled it with some yeti ice packs and added some ice and it held a couple of days. Did not need more proof Yeti works and it doesn’t leak; you do get what you pay for. I am very happy with it Just sad it took me so long to get one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Product This past weekend was the maiden voyage of our Yeti cooler. Not only is it tough but it is easy to carry around even when loaded down with ice. We brought several coolers with us on our trip for craft beer and the Yeti was the only cooler that did not need any ice put in it everyday. In fact, it is still sitting in my dining room full of ice and beer from this weekend. I was surprised how much we fit in the 45. We loaded it down with larger beer cans and were able to fit a great deal in it as shown in the photo. Also, I used Yeti Ice to initially cool the cooler down before putting beer in it and it worked like a charm. If you bring back the pink coolers again, I will be buying another. Love all of my Yeti products!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love my Yeti!! I've had my Tundra 45 for about 6 years now and it has been such a great investment! I have used it countless times for so many different trips. But when I Use it for serious trips I always prechill it the night before and depending on the temperatures I get at least 5 days + and then I get a day of very cold water. For tailgating I get about 2 days, but thats honestly because people are so frequently in and out that the hot air is being let in so much that its hard to keep it cold inside, so thats to be expected! But if you are looking for a good/tough cooler for long trips and car camping this is a great investment! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 3 out of 5 by from tundra 45 charcoal my charcoal yeti 45, doesn't seem to hav the care and precision put into the construction as my previous older models.....4years ago. did manufacturing move or relocate facilty? very cool color, but seal is smaller and makes less contact than my other 3 coolers, lid does not fit tight on seal....can wiggle up and down, ice melts in less than 10 hrs, water stays cold for 2 days tho....just add more ice I guess. ill keep it, hav stickers on, and wont send back....still better cooler than any other on market....just got a bad one, or quality is not as good as older models....just sayin [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stands Up to Life! I bought the Tundra 35 a few weeks back and haven't been disappointed! As a firefighter we often travel stations. I'm able to pack ice and all of my supplies for a shift in the tundra and leave it on the truck! When I have to travel I just take it out and move stations. I know that I always have cold supplies that I don't have to check on. I can put ice in it on Friday and Monday morning just drain the water off, add a little more ice and I'm good to go. Any other cooler I've owned would have everything floating after the first day! If you're on the fence, buy one, it's absolutely worth the money! Customer for life!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not sure yet I wanted two things in a cooler: 1) durability 2) ice retention. My experience suggests the Yeti 45L Tundra delivers very well on desire #1 and average on desire #2. I keep my Yeti in an air-conditioned room, add ice cold drinks and fill with ice. I get about 24-36 hours of ice retention INDOORS when opening about 2 times per day. My Yeti had a warped lid (which did not appear to affect the seal integrity at all), so we will see how the replacement performs. The customer service was very good when I needed the replacement. I will re-rate after trying the new cooler.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's No Cooler...It's An Icemaker Now look here. This Yeti cooler is no ordinary cooler...It’s an icemaker. This cooler is the best thing I have bought in my 26 years of being alive. This past 4th of July weekend me and my buddies were out East in New York. The weekend was a solid 80 degrees, a little humid and sunny for 4 days straight. This cooler was our lifeline that weekend. We were hauling to the beach, leaving it poolside, throwing it in the back of the car...It was all over the place. It was constantly getting refills of our adult beverages of choice...but never ice. If you put a 5lb bag of ice in there, expect about 10lb’s of ice after 48 hours or so.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Superior cooler! I just wish this had been available 40 years ago, because I'm 63 and it's obviously going to outlive me. Examples of its capabilities: armed only with a single gas-station bag of ice and not pre-chilled, it kept my food cold in the back of my truck for two days in the desert near Death Valley where the daytime temp was 118F. In less extreme heat, that bag of ice can last up to a week. It's a bit of a splurge but when you consider all the ice you don't have to buy and the food that isn't spoiled, it will eventually pay for itself. I now use it instead of a fridge in my truck camper, because it sits there silently cooling vs. using power and going "thrum" in the night. It also makes a good seat, and I use it to step up to my over-cabin bed.
