Great fit and comfort. ... Great lightweight insulated jacket. ... Fits great and is extremely comfortable. ... It's been a great jacket so far I use it on days where it's snowing and on really cold windy winter days Can get a little too hot, but it has nice zippers under the armpits and all around...

[ Wow, I picked this up during Black Friday deals and I 'm in Tahoe right now. This was definitely worth it. Wore it while shredding and held up great. I 'd recommend this for your next shredding session. Highs 40 degrees and low 20s in the night. Kept me completely warm and cozy. Not overly hot.

This jacket is so comfortable and warm. I bought it for skiing and I love it. The material is soft. I like how it zips up high to keep my neck warm while still leaving room to wear a neck gaiter. I also love the inside sleeves that fit over my thumbs. They fit great under my mittens and provided extra warmth. I found my usual size a bit small, but the next size up fit perfectly. I ’ m not sure if it ’s completely waterproof, but it ’s at least water resistant. If you want a warm, nice looking, comfortable ski jacket, I would highly recommend it!

I bought a couple of yrs ago and really impressed in all weathers it is my go to jacket as it keeps me warm in all conditions- if its wet I wear a waterproof light goretex jacket on top- my favourite features are the external chest zip pocket for my phone and the internal stash...

I ’ ve owned 2 other puffers( Patagonia and Rab). The Helium combined my favorite aspects of both jackets into one and improved on some other aspects. Only thing I can ’ t attest to is the jackets durability. I ’ ve had my Patagonia puffer for nearly 10 years, hoping this one lasts that or more! Pros:- lightweight but very warm( tested in the 20 ’s and 30F so far, expecting to see how it fairs in the negatives soon)- hand pockets are lined and warm- hood is a must have for long bouts in cold weather IMO- phone pocket on the chest fits a new pro max IPhone with a case on it- large internal open pockets, probably won ’ t use much but nice additional feature- the hood and shoulders have a water repellant material Con: My only negative is the sizing, I ’ m 6 ’ 200lbs and usually wear an XL for jackets. A large would have fit more athletically with room for another layer underneath. I live in a place it can get to- 50 or colder so having space to layer is wicked helpful, but an XL is a tough too big.

very happy with this downie. granted, I would n't try my luck in a Minnesota winter with this and a tee shirt, but for simple, functional northwest cold, this jacket is perfect. the fit is great, roominess enough but not too much, and the sizing is dead on( I 'm 5' 10 '' and 180, bought a large). good coat for the casual wearer and will last well on hikes, but the more serious outdoorsman may prefer a bit more durability.

I 've only had this jacket for a couple of days, but I am already very impressed. It's very warm, the zips are all high quality, the pockets are sooo soft and nice to put my hands in. I love how the neck comes right up to my chin so even if I do n't have the hood on, I can zip the neck right up and I feel like I am wearing a scarf. Very happy with the styling too. It has a lot of really nice features and attention to detail. Great jacket for the price.

[ I was heading to Alaska to visit my brother and I needed a better suited jacket for the elements. I ’ d tried this in at a local store but they did not offer and prints. The fit was perfect too. So I did a bit of research and found it with you! Perfect all the way around. I do ski a bit so this was perfect for that. I was t sure I would need this for Alaska but as luck would have it the temperature really dropped and it even snowed. I was quite cozy and looked great too. Two of my favorite things is the soft inner cuffs and the fleece inner collar. When you get it all zipped up it ’s cost on your face! Hopefully I ’ ll ski this season and put the jacket to a real test. The jacket does run small so I bought one size up.

I bought this jacket to wear for skiing but have been wearing it at other times also. It is warm and I love the fur hood. I do wish that there were thumb holes in the inner sleeves and maybe another pocket inside the jacket on the other side( there is one on the left side) to stick tissues, money, etc. but it's a great jacket and very comfy. I bought a size up so I can layer underneath.

I bought the Lawernce Jacket and matching pants in Alpine Green and when I wear them together I get asked if I work for the forestry service so maybe I should have gone for another color. It's a great jacket with lots of pockets in the right spot. I appreciate the cell phone leash and the goggle whips built in. It would be nice if the front zipper pull was a bit bigger or had a cord on it to make zipping up with gloves on easier like the pocket zippers have. And the collar could be a bit roomier to Zip up when wearing a neck gator.
5
Clare L.
The jacket is warm, comfortable, and has lots of great pockets. Could easily fit everything I needed for a day skiing, and it was warm enough with a few layers on a cold, blizzardy day. Sized up for a looser fit to be able to wear thick layers underneath( wore two long sleeves and a sweatshirt and was comfortable). Would recommend.

Thank you, Halfdays, for my new favorite layer. Whether in the snow or exploring town, this jacket is absolute perfection. There are so many thoughtful details from the phone strap to the goggle wipe and even the placement of the pockets. It's so comfortable and flexible while maintaining its utility to keep you warm-- truly obsessed. As a short- ish 2XL girlie, I was so stressed about finding a ski jacket that would work for my body and this one made me feel not only comfortable but confident. Love you forever, Halfdays!

I courted this jacket online for almost a year before committing. It's tricky finding great gear when your a larger size that does n't compromise on style or function. And am so glad I did commit. It's fantastic, great functionality, great weight, and so flattering. My favourite bit is how understated it is, no blaring of branding, classy stylish and full of so many practical features. I get asked where I got it constantly. Ca n't recommend it highly enough.

My first time skiing the Rockies was humbling, but I totally looked the part in my Ashton jacket. Flattering, comfortable, and chic, this bad boy kept me warm and dry during my half- dozen or so powdery wipeouts.

As an over- fifty, unskinny lady with hips and an hourglass shape, I absolutely adore my Aston( Granita shade). It's chic, flattering, true- to- size, highly functional and warm enough for days below freezing. I might add a thin fleece on below twenty- ish days. The inner breast pockets and outer cellphone pocket w/leash are perfecto. I normally wear size 14 on top and 16 on the bottom( depending on the brand). The XL fit very well with my Isabel snow pants in XL. When the pink is available, I 'll scoop it up, too. LOVE the Aston.

I ca n't say enough good things about this jacket. I wore it for a week skiing in Utah where it was both cold and snowy. At 5' 2 '' I was a little concerned this jacket would swallow me up, but the fit it perfect and the thing I most love is the belt. It creates a nice silhouette. Pocket placement was prefect with the pass pocket on the arm and lots of others too. I did wear a slim down puffer underneath since it was so cold, but depending on if you run hot or cold, you may not need it.

[ I did not research any 3- in- 1 jackets before going to the store and I was pleasantly surprised when I spotted this one. I always wear a small size in coats but definitely need a medium to be comfortable. I love omni tech and require that from a winter coat. This jacket has been very warm so far and being waterproof in Oregon is necessary. I never thought I 'd separate the coats, but less than a week after purchasing, they became the perfect separates on a warmer vacation. The hood is not insulated but stays on through the wind. I wo n't need the ski skirt option and it's not a nuisance. I will note that it might be easier to dry the jackets separate after washing, or at least pull inner sleeves out or they will not dry timely. I 'm very pleased with this jackets, more than I ever expected.

I bought this for my husband, the pickiest man on the planet when it comes to jackets and flannels. This Pinchot jacket is his new go to. Literally, has n't worn anything else since he got it. It's warm without being bulky and he can wear it with a t- shirt or a sweater underneath. When it gets colder he can use as a base layer. Great purchase!

Really love the Pinchot. Plenty of warmth with a look that stands out from the sea of sameness of traditional outdoor insulated jackets.

Pros: `` Made in Vietnam ''( in my experience better than `` Made in China ''), good( standard) fit, a little large, three zipped outside pockets Cons: no inside pocket, noisy( just a little and all such jackets are) Overall quality jacket, five stars.

When selecting a 10k waterproof ski jacket, consider features such as breathability, insulation, and adjustable elements like hoods and cuffs. A good jacket should also have sealed seams to prevent water from seeping in. Look for additional features like ventilation zippers and pockets for convenience while skiing.
A 10k waterproof rating indicates that the jacket can withstand 10,000 millimeters of water pressure, making it suitable for moderate to heavy rain and snow. This rating is generally considered effective for skiing and other winter activities, but for extreme conditions, higher ratings may be beneficial. Understanding these ratings helps you choose the right level of protection for your outdoor adventures.
10k waterproof ski jackets are typically made from synthetic materials such as polyester or nylon, often treated with a waterproof coating. Many jackets also incorporate breathable membranes like GORE-TEX or similar technologies to enhance comfort during physical activity. These materials help keep you dry while allowing moisture from sweat to escape.
While 10k waterproof ski jackets offer good protection against moderate rain and snow, they may not be ideal for extreme weather conditions like heavy downpours or blizzards. For those situations, jackets with higher waterproof ratings are recommended. It's important to consider the specific weather conditions you expect to encounter while skiing.
The fit of a 10k waterproof ski jacket is crucial for comfort and performance. Look for a jacket that allows for layering underneath without being too loose, as this can affect insulation and mobility. Additionally, features like adjustable cuffs and hems can help customize the fit to keep out snow and wind.
