The ski pants is true to the size for very slim fit; I 'm 5'11 '', 140lbs, and I can fit a medium weight base layer legging into M size( if you stature is about the same, do n't go for L, it 'll be way too loose, almost like regular/goofy fit). The material is also fairly stretchy, unlike some more waterproof/hardcore surface. It's not insulated with down/etc. but it has an inner fleece and is relatively warm. The design is really good, if you are looking for something flattering and can show off your leg.

I love the fit on these pants! I am a size 6- 8 and the M fits perfect! I like them more snug because they are more flattering& I do not feel like a marshmallow. These are warmer than my North Face snoga pant and just as flattering. I can wear a think wool layer underneath on cold days. I find Roxy brand to run on the smaller size, so size up if you are unsure. I would say they are a juniors sizing not ladies. I personally like the high waist& elastic waistband for curvy figures- it keeps the snow out if you take a tumble.

Just light enough and just warm enough- I love these bibs. The bibs are so comfortable, move well with me, and fit I 'd say nearly all shapes- as you do n't have to have the waistband size just right. No snow or cold at my waist band, or cutting into my gut when knees come up. The price point is reasonable and good value. Function and fashion.( I now have two colors and alternate with jackets.) Leg zips to open when hiking or warm; lined and space for underlayers on brutal cold days. The long side- zip allows keeping the shoulders on while I use the toilet. In the front pocket, I can store the phone and anything else needed; it has a zip close and an internal mesh sleeve. The cuffs have a cinch so I do n't trash the pant hem, dragging on the ground. Bought these for a Colorado ski trip in January and put many miles on these pants in 4 days straight of skiing. For the price you can ’ t beat them. Only problem I had was the sizing. The waistband is adjustable to a point but the overall sizes available weren ’ t fitting right. Either a little too loose or a little too tight. They have great stretch, and I loved the adjustable waist and venting in particular as I tend to run hot. One of the best mountaineering pants you can get- durable, breathable, and yet still warm at any altitude. These are my go- to pants for many PNW mountain treks( Mt Adams, Middle Sister, Mt. Hood, etc). The fit is fairly true- to- size, but I would have expected a bit more stretch in the waist. I 'm usually a 32 in most clothing, and M's feel a bit tight. There's plenty of stretch in the legs which makes for easily climbing, but the waist can definitely be a bit annoying. It's not enough to take away from how great these are, but something to consider if you 're on the border of sizes.

These pants are awesome. Great baggier fit for people with larger muscular legs. I ’ m 6 ’ 2 or 188cm and I got a L regular. Slightly long but nothing a belt can ’ t help. I took them on a mountaineering adventure snowshoeing through knee to waist deep snow without getting even a drop wet. Incredible breathability, stretch, and comfort. I love the color too! They even ripped because I snagged them with a crampon and still didn ’ t let any water through!

One of the best mountaineering pants you can get- durable, breathable, and yet still warm at any altitude. These are my go- to pants for many PNW mountain treks( Mt Adams, Middle Sister, Mt. Hood, etc). The fit is fairly true- to- size, but I would have expected a bit more stretch in the waist. I 'm usually a 32 in most clothing, and M's feel a bit tight. There's plenty of stretch in the legs which makes for easily climbing, but the waist can definitely be a bit annoying. It's not enough to take away from how great these are, but something to consider if you 're on the border of sizes.

I used them both as rain pants and as a protection layer against the strong winds and the freezing temperatures, with fleece lined leggings underneath them. They kept me dry and warm the entire trip. [ I was torn between buying M and L, ended up ordering a L long. I ’ m about 41- 42 ” hips, and the pants definitely fit on the bigger side: adjustable tabs as tight as they get, and still easily go over jeans or multiple layers with plenty extra room. I usually wear 33- 34 ” inseam, and the long version fits very well. I ’ m going to keep the L for easy trips to the rink or sledding hill, to throw over normal clothes. Will try to order a M later for skiing and walking in the cold.
