We bought this for my son as we got more into backpacking. This pack is versatile and handles his gear nicely. It isn ’ t unusual for him to strap the sleeping pad to the bottom of the pack. We use light gear, but definitely not all ultralight ultra compact gear. Durability is not a concern. I have a larger 80L pack and am considering getting this same pack for a more compact carry. I would say this pack could fit the bill for beginners and advanced users alike.

This backpack is well proportioned and has all of the right amount of pockets for storage of all sizes of items for your journey. It is also comfortable to wear which is a must. My only complaints are two minor things. First, the bottom zipper where the sleeping bag goes can get stuck easily on the zipper guard/overhang. Second, the padding on the waistline can soak up a lot of sweat. But overall a great backpack and looks cool too. I will keep it for years to come.

I bought this bag to use on a weekend hike on the AT with my thru hiking son. The bag served it ’s purpose. I was able to carry everything I needed easily in the main compartment and brain. The zip pockets on the outside are pretty useless once the main compartment is filled. Same with the water bladder. I did not use it. For the money though it ’s a good bag. It was comfortable on two 10 mile days from McAfee Knob trailhead to Daleville, VA. My torso measurement was 18 and I used the small setting on the adjuster. I tried the medium setting but the shoulder straps did not lay correctly on my back.

I use it pretty much for everything and anything, including the gym and even when I travel as a carry- on. You can hold it as a bag or over your shoulder, which is super nice. [ It ’s a great bag, feels more of a weekend bag than a gym bag. Very spacious. Design is nice, I like that it has a should strap and a handle to be hand carried. Shoe compartment for another pair of shoes/slides for the work out or after the gym. Fabric looks standard for Nike, only had it for less than a week of use and seems to be holding up well, like new still. I really like the shoe compartment and internal side pockets.

[ When I received this bag I was surprised how huge it is! Definitely too big for my gym needs but my husband loved it for his tennis practice. He was able to fit his rackets, tennis balls, shoes, change clothes, water and there was still room left. Despite of its size it ’s easy to carry. The handles are pretty accommodating and we love the shoulder pad on the long strap. Nike Brasilia Duffel bag is very sturdy. I don ’ t think I could rip it if I tried. Design is well thought. There is a pocket for everything so clothes, shoes and equipment would not mix up. For me I would get a smaller version but my husband is happy. This huge duffel bag is exactly what he needed and he won ’ t change anything about it. He likes color black as well.

My husband and I were trying to decide between the Base Camp Voyager Duffel and the original Base Camp Duffel, and we ultimately decided on the Voyager version, and we are very happy with the decision. We are using the bag mostly for weekend or road trips where we can both pack our belongings in the same bag instead of rugged trips( ex: camping or backpacking) or long trips where bags may need to be checked. The material for the Voyager is not as thick and sturdy as the original version, but it's still plenty sturdy. We are also not rough on our bags though. I the backpack straps, which can easily be removed with buckles and tucked away whereas with the original version, the backpack straps have to be looped through and are more cumbersome. It is also comfortable to wear as a backpack for short periods. The one downside to the bag is that the internal organization zipped pockets do n't have a lot of room or stretch, so you ca n't fit a lot of items in there. I also wish there were internal compression straps to keep the contents in position since they can shuffle around a lot when not fully packed. Overall, we love the bag, and it has become our go- to bag for our trips!
