We bought this pool table for a Guest House/game room that we will use for our own enjoyment and also rent. We had a professional builder assemble the table, so I ca n't comment on ease of assembly, except to say that he did in about 2 hours and did n't report any problems. The table itself is beautiful, as you can see from the pictures. It is level and the balls roll nicely so it's great for family fun. We needed a 7' table so as not to crowd our space and this is the best one we found. I should also mention that we bought the table with the slate alternative top, so that the whole table weighs about 300 lbs. The real slate weighed in at 600 lbs and we just did n't want to have to move that much weight. If you 're a casual player looking for a nice table, then this is a great table. If you 're a professional, then of course you 'll want to spend thousands of dollars on a regulation size real slate table.
