I have bought the 9 ' before and it was great. I decided to try the 7 ' and was not disappointed. What a great value

5 LKS10
First impressions of this rod are good. I bought the 9 ' combo in the blue camo. The quality is better than I imagined. The rod is sensitive and has good action to the tip. The reel is bigger than I expected and was prespooled with monofilament line. For anyone wondering the 9 ' combo is medium heavy power with medium action. It is rated for 12- 25 pound line and can cast 3/4 oz to 2 1/2 oz weights.

I am happ that I bought this rod. Excellent for Ned rigs and Senkos.

5 Rabunskier41
Use this rod primarily for spot fishing using football jigs and also finesse worms. I absolutely love the feel of this rod and especially like the reel seat setup. For the money, this is a hard rod to beat!

5 Cesar24
Sensitive enough for the finesse baits with the back bone to drive to hook home.

Frequently Asked Questions For 8' Spinning Rods

An 8' spinning rod offers several advantages, including increased casting distance and improved line control. The longer length allows for better leverage when fighting fish, making it easier to handle larger catches. Additionally, these rods often provide enhanced sensitivity, allowing anglers to detect subtle bites more effectively.

8' spinning rods are versatile and can be used for various fishing styles, including freshwater and saltwater fishing. They are particularly effective for targeting species like bass, trout, and panfish, as well as for surf fishing. Their length makes them ideal for casting lures over longer distances and reaching deeper waters.

8' spinning rods are typically made from materials such as graphite, fiberglass, or a composite blend. Graphite rods are known for their sensitivity and lightweight design, while fiberglass rods offer durability and flexibility. The choice of material can significantly affect the rod's performance, weight, and overall feel.

The action of an 8' spinning rod refers to how much the rod bends when pressure is applied. Fast action rods bend near the tip, providing quick responsiveness, while slow action rods bend throughout the length, offering more flexibility. The choice of action can influence casting distance, sensitivity, and the ability to control fish during a fight.

Yes, 8' spinning rods can be suitable for beginners, especially those looking to fish in various environments. Their length provides a good balance between ease of use and performance, making them forgiving for novice anglers. Additionally, the versatility of these rods allows beginners to experiment with different fishing techniques and species.
