I have bought the 9 ' before and it was great. I decided to try the 7 ' and was not disappointed. What a great value

5 LKS10
First impressions of this rod are good. I bought the 9 ' combo in the blue camo. The quality is better than I imagined. The rod is sensitive and has good action to the tip. The reel is bigger than I expected and was prespooled with monofilament line. For anyone wondering the 9 ' combo is medium heavy power with medium action. It is rated for 12- 25 pound line and can cast 3/4 oz to 2 1/2 oz weights.

Bought the rod and put a shimano 3500 on it for strippers works great for the 10- 15 pounders.

5 Keywii
I used this for a week long fishing trip and it exceeded expectations. It was durable and versatile in use from walleye, northern, bass and even lake trout fishing with a slab! It was strong yet sensitive enough where I could feel the difference between bottom and bite and even when my spinners were spinning. Handle was also a perfect fit and size. It was hard finding a 7ft heavy pole spinning in a brand you trust. ALSO their packaging and shipping was too notch. As an avid angler ordering poles online can be a NIGHTMARE but I was soo excited to see that they shipped it appropriately.

5 Chewmeistahhhhhh
I finally had enough money to spend on a st croix rod. I 've always wanted one, but was hesitant. I bought the Mojo Yak rod and I 'm very pleased with it. I bought the medium action, but it definitely feels like a heavy action rod. Very good quality components.

5 Smallmouth630
I ’ m a St croix guy and this rod is TOUGH! The mojo series is light weight and durable. Very sensitive and comfortable to hold. The 7 ” medium is a great rod for plastics and wacky rigs. A great all purpose rod in my opinion. The split grip helps with casting while keeping it short and low profile for kayak guys.( I like it for the weight reduction). 10/10 rod. Will continue to add more mojo to my collection.

5 DSG Customer Service Suck
I ordered this originally in February and instead of receiving the item I ordered( 10ft MH) i got a Marathon Fathom rod... after complaining to customer service, they sent me out a new one.... now of course, the rod I received was only 9ft and not the 10ft I ordered. Dicks still has n't given me the product I originally ordered. However, the 9ft performed exactly how I thought it would. and it was awesome. It threw 4oz with a chunk of clam at least 80yrds with ease. Handled bringing in two schoolie stripers 26and 27 '' perfectly. I plan on buying another one... just hope I actually get what I order this time.

5 JBSme
This is my second Okuma SST spinning rod for steelhead fishing. I use the 10 ' 6 '' SST Float Drift because it is well made, light, fast tip, and costs a third of the more expensive rods. I am not giving up anything on capability with this rod and it is priced right for me. I fish an Okuma Trios spinning reel for steelhead. I use 30 lb. braid for the main line. I use this rod for bobber doggin ', float fishing, and drift fishing. Great quality at a great price that does n't break my bank!

5 Puget Sound Angler Man
This is the Medium Heavy Medium Fast 8 ' 6 '' carbon handle version. FYI, the website misspelled it as `` Mag '' Heavy when it should be `` Med '' heavy. The SST MH, MF 8 ' 6 '' is a great do- it- all rod length power and action for Pacific Northwest fishing from trout to large king salmon. I use mine mostly for bass and Coho+ King salmon which can get over 25lbs. I paired mine with a 4000 series reel which is about ideal reel size for this rod. The rod has more of a fast action than medium fast by other company's standards. It also has a decent backbone near the handle area for when I need to clamp down the drag and horse a giant fish away from snags or to yank them up onto the shore. I sort of like the feel of cork grips over these carbon ones, but the carbon ones clean up way easier, and if I really wanted to, I could put cork handle bar tape on the carbon grips, especially to make the handle warmer in freezing weather.

5 NicZz
I bought this rod because I had 2 more and wanted to have 1 for each member of the family. We used them for salmon fishing and the quality is exceptional for a$ 100 rod. I paired them with Penn 4000 reels and they work like a dream. More than half of all my fishing rods are Okuma. I will buy another Okuma if I need one.
