Just getting back into rollerblading after a 20yr hiatus. There aren ’ t any local shops that carry them, so I had to gamble with getting correct size. If you have wide feet like me, I ’ d recommend going a size above your shoe size. I wear US 13 wide shoes, so I ordered 14 skates and they feel really good. There ’s also insole inserts included to increase the vertical tightness a 1/2 size. I haven ’ t used them yet. My biggest concern was toe cramping from having wide feet. These skates are awesome and the wheels and bearings are really solid for a stock setup. They are fast. I got an adrenaline rush and went too fast and wrecked without pads and helmet. My first baptism into the reality of skating. Make sure to at least where some wrist guards if you are a beginner or returning after many years.

My 4 year old son LOVES his Neon Combo Skates. He has been dying to get skates of his own to keep up with his big brother and these multi- mode skates were the perfect find for him. He started out using them in quad mode. They definitely helped his balance and he said they were comfortable. As his confidence grew he felt ready to try them in inline mode. Switching the wheels is quick and easy. They are held on by 2 bolts per skate which are easy to remove using the included Allen wrench. Once in inline mode my son spent another hour in the skates and probably would have kept going if we didn ’ t make him come in for dinner. As it got darker outside he really noticed the light up wheels and thought they were the best thing ever. Even after hours in the skates he didn ’ t have any blisters and he said they were comfortable. These skates are WAY better quality than other skates we ’ ve used. The Boots fit great. I read so many reviews that these boots run small and the recommendation was to size up. I wear a size 9 in Tennis shoes and got the 9/9. 5. They fit great no matter if I have thin or thick set of socks on. They are pretty lightweight, but feel extremely supportive in the frame and boot. The laces and straps will keep your foot/ankle locked in for maximum support and speed! Be warned-- these Skates are FAST! I was an avid blader in my teens and just decided to pick it back up at 29! I 've been skating streets and sidewalks and the skates really handle the different textures of concrete. I did install the brake that came with it and have a goal to remove it by Friday( will officially be one week back into blading). These skates can handle Tstops, power glides/stops-- you name it! The hydrogen wheels are pretty dreamy and smooth. I feel like these skates are responsive and do n't feel out of control at all. So much thought went into the engineering of this product and I 'm thrilled I was able to grab a pair. I LOVE them and skate every day. I have purchased 5 pairs of these inline skates now. My son started skating at the age of 2, and we were very happy that these skates were offered in smaller sizes than most other skates. Since that first solid black pair six years ago, I have bought two pairs for my daughter in the pink/white, a size up for my son in blue/black, and I just bought a pair of the black/pink for myself after my vintage Bladerunners met their demise. The quality is such that these skates will last for many years and can be handed down once outgrown. The sizing is adjustable and generous. The sizing as marked on the largest size is 3- 6 youth( UK sizing) with expansions for each larger size, and the size 4 setting fits my women ’s US 6. 5/UK4/Euro 37 foot. The skates are durable, the wheels and bearings can handle beginner skating up to moderate and semi aggressive skating( it is not mentioned but the bearings are ABEC 3 so probably not great for super aggressive skating), and they are easy to care for. Roces is a solid brand and I highly recommend these skates for kids!

Grandson( 7) loves these skates... They are a bit tight, but he was so thrilled with them he thinks they will conform to his foot. His shoe size was in the middle of the range so it should be good. The best part was how quickly I received them for his birthday in light of the Covid- 19 situation. They arrived on time and early enough in the day that he could put them on and start to learn how to skate, Really made his day as he could n't have a party. Thank you for the great service.

Our 3. 5 year- old daughter has loved the skates. We 've had her skate on the carpet, then on the wood floors with a plastic kiddie shopping cart, then on rubber tiles and concrete outside. She's had them for 1. 5 weeks and they 're scratching up on the pavement as expected. They 're a little more expensive than I would 've liked, but they 're great quality, and should last a while and function great. Definitely worth the money.

If I could rate it with half stars I would give 4. 5 stars. I love that the size of the skates can change but my almost 3 year old has big feet so he is already using them with the biggest size. So he will outgrow them quickly. I love that these come with the protective pads so he is safe while using these skates. He still needs to learn how to balance even with the learner mode but with practice I ’ m sure he will get better! Great product and very innovative! Love that you do not need any tools to change size or modes.

My 4 year old son LOVES his Neon Combo Skates. He has been dying to get skates of his own to keep up with his big brother and these multi- mode skates were the perfect find for him. He started out using them in quad mode. They definitely helped his balance and he said they were comfortable. As his confidence grew he felt ready to try them in inline mode. Switching the wheels is quick and easy. They are held on by 2 bolts per skate which are easy to remove using the included Allen wrench. Once in inline mode my son spent another hour in the skates and probably would have kept going if we didn ’ t make him come in for dinner. As it got darker outside he really noticed the light up wheels and thought they were the best thing ever. Even after hours in the skates he didn ’ t have any blisters and he said they were comfortable. These skates are WAY better quality than other skates we ’ ve used. They ’ re sturdy and provide solid support while also having super comfy thick padded liners. The adjustable sizing couldn ’ t be easier and will provide years of fun.

Both the skate and inline setups for the 2- in- 1 are working well for each kid, and it was very easy to swap the skate wheel setups out for the inline for our oldest. I love how the adjustable shoe allows for growth to happen. Our oldest was between sizes( 3- 4 US) and we landed on the middle adjustment to start for her. And now we can rest assured they ’ ll continue to fit for the next year or so. The quality and build are excellent for a kid skater, and both our girls love the colors. The purple color and the graphics are really cute – both girls love the design. Our girls are beginners, but after just a week on the inline setup, my oldest has become really confident and asks to skate every day. I would recommend this product for anyone with children learning or even having been skating for a while. We are so grateful to have found a great company for both scooters and skates!
