This is my second jacket. I bought it one size up so I could layer it. Even great for hiking. put waterproofing on this one took it to Iceland and it worked great!! As well to make it even more versatile. The only thing that sometimes bothers me is that the pocket where the battery goes is open to the actual pocket. Needs to be a zipper or even Velcro.

My wife would have kept the jacket, but she felt that the sleeves were to tight compared to her North Face jacket that it was going to replace. I 've always had issues with cold hands while skiing. My best pair are the 3 finger Hestra glove which until i bought these, were my go to warm gloves. Even with the Hestra gloves, my fingers would get cold below 15°. Recently we were planning a ski trip and the forcast temps were to be a high of 0° and i knew my other gloves would not be sufficient, so i decided to purchase the Action heat gloves. I was very happy, with the sub 0° temps, my hands stayed warm. With those temps, I did keep them on the high setting knowing that I had also purchased a 2nd set of batteries which I 'm glad i did. I also have a Action Heat vest that i bought a few years ago and its been great too.
