Probably my number one shoe for max cushion, lightweight, and still quick enough for marathon long runs. Not the fastest shoe like a racer, but fine for threshold and slower. I ’ d choose it over Vomero Plus, Nimbus, Superblast 3( which I actually returned), and would consider it even with Megablast depending on more comfort( this) or lighter and speedier( Megablast). These have become one of my favorite Adidas running shoes now- that means a lot because I have every Adidas performance line running shoes. I just got these last week and put in about 10 miles. I like the previous Rise 2, and this one is better in terms of comfort and shock absorption. The previous version was a bit firm but had a good energy return. My son is a 6' 2 '' CB/WR prospect drawing interest from multiple D1 schools. I bought him these cleats because I am an Anthony Edwards fanboy. I had to bribe my son, who is/was an ardent fan of a different brand, to try these cleats. He has now worn them more than 10x and says they are the best cleats he has ever worn. I specifically asked him about heal slippage because he has had problems with that in the past and he says that there is none. He also commented that they feel `` tougher ''( what he meant was sturdy) than other cleats he has worn. Broke my pair in walking around the city and at work for a few days and then hiked in them and loved them! Got ta love Gore- Tex, was walking through streams like it was nothing! The grip left me feeling secure, even at spots that were a little rugged or slick. They even had me running for a bit, thought running downhill towards the end I noticed they were slightly big, so I ’ ll just wear thicker socks next time. Great deal!

This is my 4th pair of Hardens, been buying em for a while. Love the performance and the ankle support even with the low cut. The other part that I don ’ t necessarily like is how they creased up immediately after 1 use. I have these in the Pearl/White and Black they did they same thing so not nothing too unexpected.
