These have become one of my favorite Adidas running shoes now- that means a lot because I have every Adidas performance line running shoes. I just got these last week and put in about 10 miles. I like the previous Rise 2, and this one is better in terms of comfort and shock absorption. The previous version was a bit firm but had a good energy return. My son is a 6' 2 '' CB/WR prospect drawing interest from multiple D1 schools. I bought him these cleats because I am an Anthony Edwards fanboy. I had to bribe my son, who is/was an ardent fan of a different brand, to try these cleats. He has now worn them more than 10x and says they are the best cleats he has ever worn. Broke my pair in walking around the city and at work for a few days and then hiked in them and loved them! Got ta love Gore- Tex, was walking through streams like it was nothing! The grip left me feeling secure, even at spots that were a little rugged or slick.
