I just got these yesterday. Unboxed and tried them on without socks because I was hoping they would replace my slides for the fall. Definitely gon na want to wear socks with these, at least if your feet run hot. The length is a tad bit long, but that ’s OK because the width is perfect. I ’ m normally a size 13; but with Adidas sizing that means I ’ ve been anywhere from a 12 to a 14 depending on the style of shoe. I ordered these in the 13, and again except for the length everything about them is perfect; but the length is not an issue. I walked around the house for a few minutes and them and I have to say these are incredibly comfortable. They have a more flat traction so I ’ m not sure how that ’s gon na hold up in a real world environment, but if they last a year I ’ ll be very satisfied because of how comfortable they are. Don ’ t hesitate, especially because you can get them on sale, just buy them now.

Bought this to add to my other pairs of Purechill footwear as they are very comfortable and sale prices are amazing. I wear a size 13 and didn ’ t try the size down as recommended with each pair I own because I find them a bit easier to slip on and off and can be comfortable with sock and reduce heat. That ’s my preference you can try and see what fits you best as the for me have room in them but with socks it ’s almost the perfect fit for my feet. I also think if you wear these a lot they can feel a little bit roomier as the material works in. But I still like mine my true size. Highly recommend

The Adios 9 was the most similar lower- stack pair I could find, and after 1. 5 months running in them, they 're great. I wear the same size I 've always worn in Adidas( 8. 5) and they are true to size. The forefoot foam has great rebound and has improved my running times. The sole definitely feels mushy laterally since this shoe does n't have much stability support, but I 'm a long- time runner and have n't had any problems with my knees or ankles since making the switch. I did get a small blister on my right heel initially, but lace locked that shoe and have n't had problems since. I 've run in it from my daily 3. 5- 4 mile runs to longer 13- milers on weekends. If you 're looking for a neutral, lower- stack, very lightweight shoe, you 've found it!

After reading so many great reviews on the Adizero SL2, I decided to try them out. It took a few runs to break in the foam, but the Lightstrike Pro foam is responsive and provides some nice pop. Some reviews recommended going up a half size, but a larger size wasn ’ t available( I wear a US size 13). While the length and width were great, the upper initially felt a little snug. However, they became more comfortable after wearing them for a few minutes before the run. The heel isn ’ t as unstable for me as some reviews have mentioned, especially compared to other shoes I ’ ve worn( e. g. Endorphin Speed). I ’ ve run up to 5K on these shoes and I would be comfortable running a 10k in them. I haven ’ t had any rubbing, hot spots, or blisters, but I have had challenges with lockdown on the right shoe. Perhaps a runner ’s loop will correct this. I am rotating these shoes with the Supernova Rise 2( which I love), but they provide a different running experience. I only have 20 miles on the SL2s, but they have been a really good shoe so far.

I just finished my 10- mile morning run. I really enjoy the Pro 5. I could feel the difference: super lightweight and stable. The greater firmness provides more stability, and I was able to run faster. The sole is intact. I 've read and watched videos about complaints, but the problem is n't the shoes. The problem is that we have different foot types, shapes, and strides. Underpronator, supinated, overpronator, or Heel striker. In my case, I have a neutral gait: my weight is distributed evenly from heel to toe, which gives me greater stability. I have never had problems with my knees, hips, Achilles tendons, calves, etc. I have worn various brands, but Adidas offers the best stability, comfort, and speed. I do use other brands and models occasionally, just to add variety to my training.

I had no issues with wear or comfort, and the stability was excellent throughout the entire race, especially on a course with both significant downhill and uphill sections. These are super comfortable, cruisers with some responsiveness. I run 5- 6 half- marathon races per year and average around 30 miles/week for training, so I go through many shoes. These have become one of my favorite Adidas running shoes now- that means a lot because I have every Adidas performance line running shoes. I just got these last week and put in about 10 miles. I like the previous Rise 2, and this one is better in terms of comfort and shock absorption. The previous version was a bit firm but had a good energy return. I prefer Rise 3 much better as a long run and daily trainer companion.

I suffer with foot issues, too many to list. The “ other ” companies just make their sneakers too narrow and/or no support. I always come back to three stripes. I ’ m an 8. 5 in men/ 9. 5 in women but prefer to size up( 9/10) for when these feet decide to swell up. The width on these are amazing. If you have narrow feet, they WILL fit big. I ’ m able to spread my toes and wiggle comfortably w/w. o socks. I will admit the sock entry is a bit challenging but with a little patience and some wiggle, so worth it for ME. Please keep that in mind when purchasing, the entry does not give, probably the only thing wrong with this shoe since there is no “ pull loop ” on the back. Note, I don ’ t have the best hand dexterity( right hand weak and can ’ t grab) and so that ’s why I mention and want you to be aware. Patience and wiggle! These are my third pair. Black to match everything and comfy to run errands or a light jog. Definitely my go to!
