The mechanism to open and close this canopy is genius. It takes a minute to get the hang of it, but can absolutely be fully opened with legs extended in a minute, by yourself. More importantly, you can close it yourself( also very easily) in just seconds, and without needing to recruit three other people to help you like other canopies. This canopy is far better quality than any of the typical canopies you see at tailgates or soccer tournaments. It's heavier than other canopies, but it comes with a great quality bag with wheels which makes it easy to move. The straight- leg design means that you have a full 10 x 10 covered area as many other brands have angled legs which make the space under the canopy smaller than 10x10. This one feels much bigger than a typical canopy. I will be showing this off and recommending to all of my tailgate friends and fellow lacrosse parents. I got the grey color which is simple and neutral.

This canopy is incredible. We use it for youth baseball tournaments and everyone that sees it thinks it's awesome. It is absolutely the easiest canopy I 've seen to put up and take down. It is of better quality than any others also. Only thing that you will need to get used to is that is much heavier than others you may have used in the past, but that is due in large part to the quality. It would have benefited also from having tie points for the anchor system to tie it down but it is manageable. Be careful also not to drop it on the wheels when unloading as the pins that hold the wheels will bend due to the weight.

Hats off to the engineers at GCI.... The old days of 2 or four people pulling each corner of a canopy outwards are over. This canopy makes it crazy simple for one person to quickly set up a canopy without needing any support from others. Be ready to have onlookers impressed with your new rig. In the first week of owning this canopy, I was able to use it camping with my family and also at a Lacrosse Tournament. While we were setting up our tent, a quick thunderstorm was passing through. We quickly set this up over our tent to prevent rain from getting in the tent.( we did n't trust the rain fly on our tent). We also used this canopy as a sun shelter while camping. At the lacrosse tournament, this canopy stood out among the others with its stylish branding and blue color. The lax team and families were able to quickly find our home base under the canopy. This was our location for gear, drinks, snacks, and resting between games. The biggest challenge with this canopy is the expectation that it operates like canopies from the past. Knowledge and experience with past canopies and their design may impede upon learning a new technology and design. People will find that the Initial set up is very different. GCI created clever instructions and a great video to learn the new method. I 'm not someone to read directions so the video was useful for me. Once you 've learned the set up method... subsequent set ups are like riding a bike. Bonus features of this canopy are- Solid carrying case with wheels, handles, pocket for stakes and big opening for sliding the canopy in and out.- Robust sturdy framing- Double layer padded friction spots to prevent any tearing- Flick down legs for quick assembly- Stylish and robust canopy fabric- Air vents at the top to allow wind and air movement areas that could use improvement...- bigger wheels on bag would help with rough terrain but current wheels do alright- maybe a longer velcro pull strap on the canopy to wrap around the corner of the tent frame to get more adherence to velcro.- Would love it if there was an optional mosquito screen accessory All in all, I 'm loving this canopy... its a game- changer! I will never go back to the old style of canopies!

We used it for our first time at a ball game. It was indeed easy to raise and lower. It was a slight wind so we used the stakes. I could see high wind being a problem for anything of this design. The wheeled bag was awesome for lugging to and from the field. Very pleased.

This canopy is the best one I 've owned. It is a very sturdy with heavy gauge hardware including double sown seams on the canvas. I used it twice at windy football games and never hinted of sailing off. The E- Z Up 10'x10' is defiantly a two person setup and take down. Surprisingly, it is easy to remove/insert from the wheeled carrying envelope. It's 57lbs heavy.

I have had many canopy's in the past and everyone of them has lasted a year or two until breaking. This costs a little more but is very much worth the price. The cover is thick grade canvas that will not tear. The legs are strong and long enough so I do n't hit my head every time I walk under the tent( I 'm 6' 2 ''). the bag and wheels may be the best feature of all. The wheels are wide enough so the bag with the tent wo n't tip over while pulling it and it is made of the same strong canvas as the top of the canopy.

This is the second of these canopies( Quest 10X10 Slant) that I ’ ve purchased. I have used the first for five week- long beach trips where it saw all- day daily use. It is only now beginning to show some wear and tear but is in good shape to continue to use. I purchased this( second) canopy simply to pop up a second canopy and have more shade. If the original gets to a point where I can no longer use it, I look at it this way…I got the opportunity to use it for approximately a dollar a day. At that price, I can just continue to buy another of these when the previous one deteriorates. Well worth the money!

I purchased this canopy on behalf on my daughter's high school tennis team. The goal was to offer shade for the girls when not on the court. It worked perfectly. It was easy to set up, although it was easier with four people than two, just for trying to keep the legs going up evenly. It was steady and we did not use the stakes because it was sitting on concrete, but it also was not windy. The canopy seems durable and the legs strong. I love the color selection and was able to get our school color green, I would like to get one to have at home.

I am hopefully and looking forward to using it more. Pros:- very lightweight- provides shade very comfortably for 2 people, chairs and stuff. Add another third person and it becomes a very tight fit. A forth person, no way.- easy setup and breakdown- looks good too- 6 tie off points( instead of just 4) which is crucial for this kind of tarp shade system.- comes with stakes and large and long plastic screws- really great company customer service( I had a major issue with my shadecaster right out of the box but they fixed it super fast and zero hassle) Cons:- slightly smaller in size to other comparable tarp shades. Wish they had one more size up from this one.- only comes with 4 sacks to fill with sand( 6 tie off points, 4 sand sacks???). Yes, I know you can use the stackes or screws BUT I would way much prefer to use the sand bags.- major issue: my 2 prop poles did not come with round end caps on them. Made it challenging to use at beach which is the first time I opened it. I enedes having to use some clothes to cap the ends so that the bare metal would n't tare into the tarp top. Grand trunk customer service and warrenty is fantastic though!!!

I bought this to replace an old pop- up which had bowed, bent and broke at the middle brace points. I bought this one specifically for the reinforced braces in the middle and it did n't bow in once even during a rain storm in the mountain of Southern CO. The vented top was perfect for the wind, which was n't super strong, but was moving the top quite a bit! Really liked the idea of closing and opening these vents. Even had one side closed& the other open during the rain so it would n't come in us while we were cooking! Also bought this because of parts replacements, even thought I have n't needed it, very nice to know that it's available! The issue we had when putting it up, was a screw in the inside leg at the bottom was n't put in straight and it was catching the outer leg from extending. In step 3 of the instructions, Figure D was impossible to do! Had to have 2 people work at this to get it to click!
