The material seems sturdy, and I 've had no issues as of yet. Took it on a cruise to Mexico and a day in Universal Studios,& it worked great. Since then, I 've taken it on numerous walks and hikes without complaint. Plenty of pockets/pouches to hold my stuff. I have n't used it in heavy rain, but in light to moderate rain I have n't had any issue with stuff inside getting wet. It's comfortable and the adjustable straps stay where you adjusts them to.

This is my absolute favorite running belt... I now own three! It's got a surprisingly large capacity( I usually pack my phone and occasionally some gels) and it really stays put when the straps are pulled tight. It's easy to open and close on the go and I love the internal pocket-- I keep a spare hair tie in it since I prefer to put my keys in my shorts.
