My orthotics fit in these perfectly. Without my orthotics the shoes rubbed against my ankle, but the inserts lifted my heel just enough so that was not an issue anymore. They are much more rigid than my typical athletic shoes, but that is probably beneficial in my case. I will definitely replace these with the same shoe when the time comes.

I love Merrell Moab ’s, wear them every day and have 5 pair. But as hot as this summer has been, I wanted a pair of lighter weight shoes. I started with Merrell styles, but had no luck getting a good fit for my problem feet—a neuroma and plantar fasciitis on one foot and a bunion on the other. I also tried styles from all the highly rated shoes for walking, including those with gel insoles. They all bothered my neuroma, and the gels were so bouncy they made me feel a little unsteady on my feet. So I went back to Merrell and tried the speed solo, ordered up a half size, and finally found my fit! The shoes seemed narrow at first, but after wearing them a couple of times, they ’ re as comfortable as my Moab ’s.

I climb Camelback Mountain in Phoenix, Arizona every day. It's 5- miles, 2, 400' of granite boulders with no soft places, no dirt, only sharp- edged rocks to tear up your boots. The mountain has torn up many lesser shoes and shredded all competitors. I 've hiked with XA Pro 3D for ten years and recently switched to the Ultra 360( same shoe, better padding). Fit perfectly from day 1 and I used them for hiking, ordinary wear around town, and even to a casual restaurant dinner. Got many compliments along the way. I am male, wear a men's size US 6/Euro 39 shoe, and have difficulty finding my size, and a women's size 7. 5 works with this shoe. Good for these late fall days love the thicker sole I do change the insole to a more cushioned insole, and space to add a foot warming pad without discomfort. And they do look good! Fits to size, and I always order them in line

Bought these for a trip to the redwoods national forest. These were super comfortable and really didn ’ t need breaking in as I was only able to wear them once for a 2 mile walk prior to our trip and never had any problems! Definitely size down a half size.

These shoes are so comfortable! Cushioning without being sloppy, at least for me. As I do n't hike much these days, these are great for easy walks. I got a 10. 5 which fits me well, although I sometimes need an 11 in Merrell walking shoes. It does n't feel too big for me. It's my go anywhere shoe these days.

I have bunions and normally wear wide shoes to accommodate them. These streatch and I can wear regular width. Very comfortable. Great cushioning. Being over 60, the extra cushioning is very important. Although insole is not removable, my orthotics fit in them nicely. Buying more!
