I was looking for an ankle brace that my daughter could wear just for added support on the sides only since her kept rolling. She always has high basketball shoes so a lot of the supports add too much bulk in that area and restrict the movement. This is perfect. Now mind you her ankles were just loose and she has n't actually sprained them so we were n't looking for full support, just enough to keep them upright. I won these around Christmas time for my daughter 14, in a drawing. I had bought her a pair before winning these. She ended up liking these more. The right toe sole has started to pull away but she has a tendency to drag that toe across the floor so it could be much worse than it is. Nothing a little glue won ’ t fix. These made it through her whole club volleyball season and I anticipate she ’ ll have them through camp and club through the summer. They are comfortable, she has enough room for her wider feet and they provide support while moving around the court and landing after a jump.

These Superfeet orthotics are better than my doctor- prescribed orthodics because they are the SAME fit and durability for$ 55 instead of$ 500! The key is that they come in different sizes and arches. I have high arches and wear a 9. 5 women ’s shoe which means “ women ’s ” inserts are often to small but men ’s are too big and can ’ t be trimmed enough for a good fit.
