[ I got these for my wife. She said: I am a working mom of 7 young kids and I like to keep in shape both for my physical health as well as my mental health( and sanity!) and I need workout gear that can withstand a lot of wear and tear as well as make me feel good while wearing it. These high waisted running leggings really fit the bill! I used them around the house to get tasks done as well as for both for short( 1- 2mile) and long( 5+ mile) runs. There are both pros and cons to this model- the PROS: 1) the material is SO comfortable and has the perfect blend of stretch and compression. 2) the fabric weight is ideal for spring running- it breaths but it also holds in heat so my legs felt great for the duration of each run 3) The pockets are positioned so I could be hands free and still keep my essentials( like phone and energy gel packs) accessible during the run. 4) the waistband is thick so there is not a small single circle of pressure on my abdomen, which is an improvement from other brands I 've tried 5) there is no seam or pressure point anywhere on the tights that was uncomfortable, so I did n't experience any rubbing or discomfort for the duration of wearing them ever! There are only a couple CONS: 1) I felt they run a bit small, especially in the waist. I know they are intended for compression, but getting them on required a bit of discomfort, especially at the top of the waist- it is exceptionally small. I 'd recommend sizing up if you have a larger waist or prefer more room on the waistline. Since they are high rise, it definitely `` cuts '' into the area under your rib- cage at first and is tricky to pull up. Once I got them up, they were fine and they stayed in place perfectly, but I might size up if I buy a second pair for this reason 2) I feel they are a bit long to be considered 7/8 length( I 'm 5' 8 '' 125 lbs)- they fit more like a traditional legging, which was fine for my use but if I truly wanted 7/8 length I 'd say they are longer than that. Overall these are great leggings for running- they stay in place, keep me cool, held up to washes and wear and tear and still look new, and fit comfortably with no rubbing. I 'd definitely recommend them for anyone who wants to run!

This is by far my favorite leggings. I was a fan of that Canadian athletic brand for a long time, and this leggings beats all their leggings in every way! I have 3 colors now and thinking getting the red color. It is just right amount of compression for me. Tight, but still comfortable. I love the fact there is NO seam in the middle. I purchased these after a hike in the Yukon where I ended up stripping off my hiking pants down to my baselayer bottoms as it was much warmer than expected. I thought, why not use a legging as my baselayer and then if I need to strip off, I am not hiking through bramble in my woolies? I was worried as there is no drawstring at the waist, I wondered if the weight of my phone in the side pocket would pull the pants down over time. The good news is that the pants stay up very well. They are very breathable and I consider they will make great warm weather bottoms. The ankle opening is quite narrow- put your socks on after! True to the sizing guide.

I was provided this model of Ferrosi Hybrid leggings to replace a previous pair( the warranty issue was such a complete fluke that really, I should have bought a lottery ticket because the chances of it happening in another pair of leggings would be next to impossible). So A. GREAT work OR for standing behind your products and B. They were replaced by a newer model. Turns out, this is a super cute legging. I love the pockets- they are placed well, good size, extremely functional. I am not sure if I am entirely sold on the two tone black color. When I pulled them out of the wash the back almost looked navy blue- but it could have been the lighting. I have a weird hangup with black and navy together. But really, these are super functional for outdoor pursuits, I am very happy with them.
