Great all- around shorts! I love the fabric of these—the nylon has a crisp( almost stiff at first, then softening over time) and substantial feel. These hold up to moderate abrasion better than drapey polyester shorts. They ’ re perfect for rock climbing. The wide leg opening and stretch makes them great for lifting or running too. I ’ ve even gone swimming in them( just note they are unlined). I love the 5 '' inseam, but I do wish the front rise and back rise were an inch higher. The embroidered logo is a nice touch.

I just got these and the fit and features are as advertised. Really like the zippered pockets and extra details. However, I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because there is no: Elastic waistband and internal drawcord gives a secure fit.
