These shorts are darn near perfect. The pocket placement feels a bit strange to me but I think it ’s because the way the seam is. Either way- 5/5. They look so cute, they ’ re comfy, they wash well, etc etc. great quality from brooks! True to size. I wear a L and I am approx 33 ” waist and 44 ” hip( typically a size 12ish)

I love these shorts! I am 5' 7 '', about 140lb and ordered a medium. The waistband is the same size as a small in my chaser shorts so be aware of that. The material is more of a brushed finish than the method line. They did n't budge on my run, love the waist pocket for my phone and the side pockets have a stretchy mesh lining that is very secure. I have black and blue so far and may have to stock up on a few more.

I received the shorts and they were `` as advertised ''. The fit was exactly as described. I almost hesitated to purchase them based on a review I read. It indicated the pockets failed when the reviewer put his phone in the pocket. No such issue on my part and that includes the protective case that covers my phone. It was snug and has no movement in the shorts while I run which means I can run comfortably without strapping the phone to my arm or leave it behind.

Usually go for 2 in 1 shorts but always find the base layer element rides up and I end up chaffing. These are a great length, perfect fit and solved my chaffing. Only improvement would be to add a zip pocket on the back for keys or more gels

Ran my second marathon in these. Perfect. Did n't even know they were there—except when I needed to grab my gels from the side pockets. Tested out with a 17 mile long run before the race. Both times no issues with chaffing. Might be a little warm on a hot day, but perfect for mid 50s- 60s. One side pocket seem popped the first time I took them off, but that was fixed up with a little extra stitching from the sewing machine.

I wore these for the first time on a 7 mile run today and I decided mid- run to order another pair as soon as I got home. These are my favorite new running leggings for warmer weather! I had gels and keys in the side pockets and phone in the back pocket and everything was super secure, the leggings did n't ride down or move during the run at all, which I find usually happens with a phone pocket. I wish I had these for the half marathon I ran last week! I love that I do n't need to wear a running belt with these since they hold so much. The leggings are super comfortable, flattering, and did n't need any stretch or wear- in period. I 've tried many pairs of cropped running leggings over the years and they either do n't have pockets, pockets are n't big enough, they ride down, the thigh band is too tight, etc.- these do n't have any of those issues!

These are my favourite shorts to run in. They are comfortable and do n't ride up. The pockets are wide enough to fit my phone in and it gives me confidence that my keys and phone are secure. I ran an ultra marathon( 40 miles) in these and I had no problems. I tried and tested a few brands before I found these shorts( others rub or ride up). I would definitely recommend and I 'll be buying another pair.

It is all about the pockets! I ran in these shorts for fall marathon. The longer length is nice on my 60 year old legs. The pocket in the back waistband is perfect for your phone. Sometimes Brooks run big, but these were true to size. Amble room for nutrition.

Bought this 8 ” short after loving the 5 ” but wanting a longer option- the pockets are amazing, and the shorts never budge or ride up, even after 20 miles. The screenprinted logo is peeling off after just a few washes, and I wish this short came in a 6 ” or 7 ” middle option, but overall fantastic gear.
