I purchased this seat in hopes that it would give me a little more support than the original seat in my kayak. I did n't even remove the old seat. I just inflated the lumbar back( fabulous) I must say and sat it in the kayak over the original seat. The new seat is a little higher on my back and the lumbar area gives me the support for a very comfortable ride. I have had back surgery in the low back area and when I would spend time on the water, I always had back pain. I tried flotation cushions to raise me up higher or behind me to give additional support. Now that I have this particular seat I no longer have to put any additional padding anywhere. I am so glad to have found this seat. Now I can kayak for any amount of time I want. Great buy, great price, for such a remarkable cushion.

I have a regular seat and later on learnt about this lumbar support seat. I ordered one and was glad I did cause after a few hours on the water the lumbar seat definitely helps prevent a sore lower back. I use it in my Advanced Elements Convertible( 2 person) kayak. I would recommend it and trust me you wo n't regret it. Its worth the money.

I can rest my neck on the back. My boyfriend is 6 ’ tall and 180. He can ’ t rest his neck but is still very comfortable in the high back chair zero. The GCI Outdoor Roadtrip Rocker is an excellent chair that sits on the fence between an `` A '' or a `` B ''. Just a couple extra credit assignments and it firmly passes with straight A's. This chair is very comfortable and does a surprisingly good job as a rocking chair. The back is tall enough to lean back and feel supported. It is wide enough be bundled up in blankets and still have room. There are two things I 'd like have changed slightly. If you are sitting up to a table, or even just forward on the chair it is a bit too relaxed. Lastly, be prepared for a fairly large item when folded. Getting all this comfort into a bag poses a big challenge. Well done GCI!

I am only 5' 1 and about 250 lbs with my short legs I was getting exhausted form sitting on the bleachers/ benches at my daughter's volleyball games but since I am heavy as well it was twice as bad.
