[ My wife and I were in desperate need of a camp chair upgrade, I am a `` buy the right thing once '' kind of guy and these fit the bill. The frame is sturdy as heck and material is strong yet comfy. We use these chairs a few days a week and the only downside is there is a slight pressure on the hamstrings from the cloth that hangs between the arms and it is quickly solved by putting your feet on a cooler or fire ring! Also these things recline, have adjustable arm rests, and the largest( most useful) cup/stuff holder of any chair I have used.

Although I 'm disappointed they got rid of the mesh side pockets from the first generation, and then got rid of the bottle opener that was on the first two generations, this is still the best camp chair out there. The legs began to lock and it took on the shape of it. The cover fit perfectly after the body's poles were positioned correctly. After putting the cover on, I tried out just how comfortable this chair was. The chair was very fitting. The cupholder help a large water bottle and did not struggle to hold it up. The colors of this chair were so nice. I had the black and the blue one. It was perfect. Taking this product down was even easier. I slipped off the cover and folded the poles again. Thoughtful features include: padded carrying strap; the bag's stay open, roll down opening replaces the standard tangled drawstring making removing and storing the chair hassle free; seat and back are nicely padded; wider seat adds to stability of the chair; wide arm rests with two cup holders; and an additional strap to be able to carry the chair with or without the bag. I was happy until I tried my friend's chair zero high back. I never knew what I was missing. The head support changes everything. After trying the high back I had to have one, and backpacking has never been better. As a note, I 'm only 5' 6 '' tall. This chair is perfect for me. [ We own two of the small Helinox chairs that we use for canoe camping so we have to carry them in a pack. However, we recently got a camper van and are getting a little older. The sunset chair is still pretty darn small so fits well in the camper. You sit a bit higher which is nice and the high back is also very nice. Putting a blow up pillow in the the holder makes it perfect for relaxing around the camp and can even nap in the chair. We have an Eno chair as well which was much more expensive, a bit heavier and not any more comfortable( but still a good chair). The Helinox Sunset is n't as sturdy as the fold out chairs but smaller and lighter and way better than those regular camp chairs that slip into a bag.

It is a bit heavy, which is understandable since it is large. My husband says it is not heavy at all. He really loves it too. There are also straps on the back to adjust the armrest as well. I can actually lay back in comfort in this chair. There is a removable storage pouch on the back to hold items you may need. The chair feels nice and sturdy and it will last a long time.

The arm rests are adjustable with a cord in the back and the cup holder even have little holes in the bottom so if you spill a drink in them you don ’ t have to worry about it standing and growing mold. The back has 3 levels of recline which are easily adjusted by pulling out the pin and sliding the bar upwards. Another great bonus is that there is a storage pouch on the back of the chair which is removable by unzipping it from the chair if you need to take your belongings with you when if you decide to explore.
