The compression at the waist is fantastic. Some other tights ride down with certain movements but this one doesn ’ t! It definitely compresses your mid- section well. I only wear leggings with pockets and these have two! The length hits right at the ankle for me at 5 ’ 2 ” so it may be a little shorter for a taller person. The feel of the fabric is like butter on your legs and moves and breathes well. I am not a runner, but I do interval/sprint runs in cross- training and HIIT exercise, and these performed very well. I ’ ve also worn them around the house and on errands and they ’ re great as everyday athleisure too. The phone pocket is a good size and securely holds a normal sized phone. Love Smartwool for days in the snow. It ’s a great base layer that I can depend on. It is super soft when you first buy it but does get scratchier with wash and wear, even with gentle cycles, mild detergent, and hang drying. I tend to wear a thin, cotton free layer underneath for better comfort and more layers. While it does offer some stretch, it is very true to size, so if you are teetering between sizes, size up. You ’ ll be more comfortable and won ’ t risk circulation compression, which will ultimately make you more cold.

These bottoms also have a nice wide and sturdy waste band so there is no bunching or other uncomfortable nonsense in that area. I prefer a lighter, merino base layer- these were a bit thick to ski in for my liking BUT! I absolutely love them for a post- ski lounge/apres sesh or for traveling. They are compressive yet perfectly giving and the high waist sucks you right in. I also love where they hit- I normally wear a 25 '' inseam and these fit right on my ankle bone. Not see through at all, and they wash really nicely( I hang dry). I only wish I was able to order these in the espresso color from last year!

These are amazing! We love them. ❤️ My dad got my husband and I both a set for Christmas like 10 years ago or more. They are still in perfect condition. We use them for hunting, playing in the snow or anytime we have to be outside for long periods of time in the cold. When I go hunting and it's super cold or wind chill of- 15. I wear mine, my husband's and my under armour sweat pants under my hunting bibs. No need for a heater at all. My son told me he needed some bigger under layers so I automatically ordered him this set. He is going to be so excited when he gets the Christmas morning. If you have multiple children you definitely need to get these. They are such a good quality and will last for years if they are taken care of. The adults sizes are pretty unisex in the bottoms. The woman's top seems to be a little more fitted for the breast.

I wear these for walking and swimming and they fit the bill well. Phone pocket works well, although my phone struggles to fit since I upgraded to a bigger one recently. I bought these and they are fantastic. I 've had other half tights but this is by far the best I have worn. It's almost like it's not there. I did by a medium by accident, and later I ordered a large. They both fit well. But I did notice the seam in the front kinda digs into your groin area, but when I got the large( which is my normal size), I had no such issues. The light colors are slightly revealing, but the dark colors is perfect. Nowhere near as noticeable as the blue ones. with that being said I will say the light color does n't show sweat marks like my other half tights, it really lets the sweat dry and you do n't as mess from a run down there.
