Bought for my 10 year- old son to practice pitching and fielding. It works well and let's him practice independently. He likes using it a lot. Only downside: not the best assembly instructions and I needed extra- help from my husband because I did n't have much arm strength to stretch the bungees and net. Overall, a good purchase.

Bought this for my daughter's 9th birthday a few weeks ago. She is mildly obsessed with baseball and this was on her list for awhile. While I prefer to play catch with her, this allows her to throw harder, practice certain pitches or to throw when no one is around as a partner. I 've even found myself out there pitching hard into it and catching the flyballs that come back( how we set it for now). Looks like it will last awhile and get lots of use. Was n't hard to put together although I did have to put parts together and then take them apart and reverse them opposing what was instructed. Overall we are very happy with this setup as another tool in the shed.
