Would have been a bit easier for the first 15 minutes with help. It took about an hour and a half by myself. Much of the time was spent removing the platic protection on each piece after I completed the build. I am truly imressed by the quality of the product and the genius of the design. Beautiful shoe. Lightweight, sturdy, lots of cushioning in the heel and mid- foot. Sock type made a huge difference for me with this shoe. I tried on 2 different shoe sizes with 2 different socks. My usual size 7-- If I wear cushioned socks, these shoes are extremely snug and nearing uncomfortable. If I wear thin socks( that I use for running), these shoes fit comfortably and just right. Went up a half size to 7. 5-- Cushioned socks, shoes are comfortable but I get a lot of heel slippage no matter how I tie the laces. Thin socks, even more heel slippage. Also, 7. 5 was clearly too long for my foot because I had over 1 thumb's worth of space from my big toe to the end of the shoe's toe box. The extra length in the toe made me walk funny. My suggestion is to try different sizes with different socks because these shoes have a weird, picky fit.

So far so good! Clearly digging the necessary 16x16x36 hole isn ’ t the most enjoyable thing to do on a Friday afternoon. After waiting our time, the installation of the rest was simple. We put together the post and put it up( me and 15 yo) and borrowed a truck to install the backboard. SO MUCH EASIER! I ’ d suggest renting the Lowe ’s truck for$ 20 if you don ’ t have access to one readily. We cranked the arms all the way down so there wasn ’ t any lifting just holding the backboard at waist height to get the last bolts through. Kids love it, ended up buying the post light attachment within a few weeks so will review that soon after installation and some use!
