Yes, there are cheaper models on the market, but do yourself a favor and spend more for the Skywalker cage. Easy assembly and came well packaged. Was up in under two hours with two adults doing the work net is sturdy enough for both me and my son to hit hard balls into it. I love this thing. It's a bit pricey for what it is, but it works well when used properly. All the kids on my team love to use it and seem to immediately transfer the swing action developed with this directly to live pitching. A team that hits to to bottom will be hard to stop! I do question the durability of this however. It does n't have a good sturdy feel to it. Hopefully it's deceptively strong because for this price I 'd like this trainer to last a couple years until the adult model is necessary.
