You can adjust the straps to make the vest fit better. At first it was a bit hard to adjust the straps but once it is loose it ’s no problem. My daughter seemed to be pretty comfortable in it and wore it all the time while in pool. Definitely a great item to have when boating, swimming in the open water or pools.
