I bought these for my son's 8th birthday. He LOVES them!! He has been skating around the house and in the driveway everyday since he got them... and ca n't wait to get to the skating rink to show off his `` cool new skates ''! They seem to be well made and good quality, so for the price they are a steal! I feel like we 've already gotten our$ 28 out of them!

This is just how kids rollers should be. My 11 years old son has been roller skating for a few years. His level is 20- km family trips with a good speed, roller hockey in school, some tricks and slalom exercises. The model suits perfectly these needs. 4 wheels is better for speed- skating part, 3 wheels- for slalom, hockey. He started in similar model few years ago- and it suits beginners very well also due to very good lateral support. It was 3 weels- only model- and that was ok. The model has short axis included- to smoothly remove brake which is fine for non- beginner level. Shifted size feature works just perfectly. You need just a single pair of good rollers for a few years. I highly appreciate the approach and implementation. I personally have a deep experience in rollers- and if you need all- round kids' rollers from beginner to advanced- that's just it. If you need long distance walking or beginner- level- 4- wheels is preferable, all the other activities- 3 wheels version. I would n't recommend cheaper versions even for beginners- ventilation is not enough. On the other side, if you need specific rollers for slalom competitions, ramp, free- skating( advanced+)- the next model with stiffer boot would suit better

5 GoBlading
I bought my grandson these rollerblades because they are sturdy, well built, and easy to get on and off. Within a short time he was comfortable with them and is getting better every day.

5 Junebug74
My son was ecstatic, he would n't take them off. I had to take them off when he fell asleep.

5 Surfnbiker
The skates look and feel really well built. We LOVE the fact they are adjustable from size 5- 8! Kudos to Rollerblade for producing such a forward thinking product. My son says they are super comfy( I ’ ll take his word for it.) They have a lot of quality features like the fasteners, the are almost like snowboard boots. I would buy these again in a heartbeat.

5 So Annoyed

True to size comfortable and safe! My lil dude loved them!

After searching through local sports stores, at the rink, big box stores and websites, we finally chose the Chicago boys rink skates for our 4 and 1/2 year old grandson. They are easy to get on and off, support his ankles, and glide smoothly around the basement floor. They are also suited for the indoor roller rink, which he will be going to soon for a party. He uses them to play roller hockey. Although the shoe is a vinyl, it looks and feels almost like leather-- too bad they still are n't made with leather. We purchased them two sizes bigger than he wears for growth. He wears long sports socks over his regular socks, and that works fine. I would recommend these skates over others that we found at big box stores.

This was a gift for my son and he loves them. He skates with them at indoor rinks and around the house. Good product for the price.

5 Busy Mom on the Run
I ordered these as a Christmas present for my son. I ordered one size bigger than his shoe size( 4) so they would last longer. Size 5 is big for him but not too big to use now. I was concerned about how smooth the wheels are, but they seem durable and not slippery. He was able to skate that day and enjoyed them! I would recommend this product.

Product ideal for rollerskating or rollerblading wrist protection. very reasonable price. Might run small, bought for my 13 yo daughter who is petite.

5 hovocop
Got this on sale for$ 79. 99, about a month ago. I was not sold on the variable size feature( it goes from size 5- 8 as your kid grows), but I got it because the package brings knee, elbow, and wrist guards which would have cost$ 30 by themselves. The boot is not a real boot but a soft material. The laces do very little in the way of support as opposed to traditional ice skates. The only thing keeping you from breaking your ankles is a velcro strap near your ankle and a ski boot style strap at your calf........ surprisingly, this works for lightweight kids in the beginner stage.......... I liked it so much that I bought a pair for my other young boy........ but when I tried a similar style for adults, it would clearly break with the stresses that I would put on it.

5 AggroSkater
I got these for Aggressive Inline skating when I skate street or park. I 've taken a few falls and the shock absorption on these things are really great. I 've had pairs that slide and move around but these stay in place. OH! they also do n't cut off circulation. So that is also good

5 AggroSkater
I LOVE THESE! I 'm an aggressive inline skater and falling is just bound to happen. These let me catch myself without fear of breaking my wrist. The elastic around the tumb is n't super tight and the velcro strap holds the brace in place. They are really good for heavy impact falls or slides. I totally recommend.
