Overall the 505 has been an excellent paddle for me, I have used this paddle for two years as this is my second one. The paddle has great balance and control and the long handle allows two handed. I found it all with the Evoke Premier paddle. I purchased the 'heavy' model, which gives my shots that extra pop I want. The surface is nicely textured, and delivers all the spin I can muster. If I could find any room for improvement in the Evoke Premier, it would be the material used for the handle, which can get quite slippery under humid conditions. Some overwrap took care of that. Although this frame has been around for awhile, I highly recommend it.

I love the tennis- handle shape of the grip; however, the padding on the grip is very thin and can get uncomfortable. If Onyx can figure out how to give some more grip padding without adding more weight and circumference to the grip, they 'll have a true winner.

You know what's fun? Being different. One of my favorite things about this paddle is that it's different. Every other paddle is predictably carbon fiber and all seem to be chasing the latest fad in paddle technology. They 're all innovating, sure, but in such a narrow space that they all start to seem kind of... the same. Revolin paddles have always provided a great value and performed well among their competitors. I appreciate that they 've been able to do it with more sustainable materials- both because sustainable is good and also because it just seems more innovative than doing what everyone else is doing. They are definitely one of the brands that seems they could make big waves in the industry. So, all that to say I like this paddle because I feel different playing with it. I needed an upgrade from my Z5 paddle and this seemed like the next logical step since I wanted to upgrade to raw carbon. Let me tell you this was a heck of an upgrade. This paddle feels like a lot of the Pro paddles that I ’ ve played with and for less than half the cost. Played with a SLK hybrid for 1. 5 years and always had the Luxx Control Air Invicta on my radar as my next paddle upgrade. Finally purchased when the price came down, and I 'm sorry I waited. I felt like progress stagnated with the SLK, but I 'm making slow but steady progress with the LCA Invicta. Nothing earth shattering, but expecting to be transformed by a paddle upgrade is wishful thinking. I 'm playing better, making progress and feeling better about my game.

I previously used the Diadem Warrior V1& V2 paddles. It was a great paddle but since I 've been using my Luxx Control Air- Invikta, it far exceeded my expectations. I 'm so happy I purchased this paddle... I was n't sure I wanted to make the investment because these paddles are pretty pricy but this paddle really enhanced my game. My serve has improved tremendously especially when it comes to power and spin. I 've also been told that my topspin on my serves are so much harder to pick up-- especially when put a lot of pace on it. I 've also been told that when I use a slice backhand( I typically use a two hand topspin backhand), my opponents have a harder time clearing that shot. However, I notice that when I try to put away a high dink, there's this paddle does n't give much of a pop like other paddles I 've had in the past. For my game, though, I need more control than power so this really works for me. I notice that I can do better third- shots and topspin drives with this paddle. This paddle is also great at dinking. I come from an aggressive tennis background so this paddle really improved my game. If you 're on the fence about investing in this paddle, I recommend it if you come from a tennis background and need more control than power in your game.

My wife's pickleball instructor recommended an upgrade so she chose the LUXX Contral Air Invicta and absolutely loves it! We added edge protection tape but she is not interested in additional weight at this time. The paddle was right a 8. 0 ounces out of the box. We added a Hesacore grip and rewrapped with Selkirk's Comport Grip tape.
