Overall the 505 has been an excellent paddle for me, I have used this paddle for two years as this is my second one. The paddle has great balance and control and the long handle allows two handed. Having played with many of the top brands the thing that sets the 505 apart is its large and consistent sweet- spot. This effects your entire game but for me it tremendously helped with the 3rd/5th/7th shot drops. I believe this is a great paddle for everyone but especially the 3. 5- 4. 0 player trying to progress forward to 4. 5. I found it all with the Evoke Premier paddle. I purchased the 'heavy' model, which gives my shots that extra pop I want. The surface is nicely textured, and delivers all the spin I can muster. If I could find any room for improvement in the Evoke Premier, it would be the material used for the handle, which can get quite slippery under humid conditions. Some overwrap took care of that. Although this frame has been around for awhile, I highly recommend it.

You know what's fun? Being different. One of my favorite things about this paddle is that it's different. Every other paddle is predictably carbon fiber and all seem to be chasing the latest fad in paddle technology. They 're all innovating, sure, but in such a narrow space that they all start to seem kind of... the same. Revolin paddles have always provided a great value and performed well among their competitors. I appreciate that they 've been able to do it with more sustainable materials- both because sustainable is good and also because it just seems more innovative than doing what everyone else is doing. This paddle is really light and has a standard shape grip. It lacks a bit of control, but the power it provides is amazing. The pop sound that it makes is also very satisfying when hitting the ball. Hitting drives and volleys are amazing but when I was trying to place a ball or tried to dink it was surprisingly hard to keep the ball low or in the kitchen. I would recommend this paddle to anyone who wants power but also knows how much power they can give to keep the ball in play. I think it is really easy to hit the ball out with this paddle, but I think it is really fun to use.

I needed an upgrade from my Z5 paddle and this seemed like the next logical step since I wanted to upgrade to raw carbon. Let me tell you this was a heck of an upgrade. This paddle feels like a lot of the Pro paddles that I ’ ve played with and for less than half the cost. In terms of playability this paddle has a longer feel to it giving you more reach without sacrificing the sweet spot. I ’ ve been looking for the right paddle for a long time and this is it. I have been switching between playing with 16mm paddles- Apes Pulse V, Joola Hyperion C2 CFS, Honolulu J3k Pro, Gearbox Pro, Thrive Azul, and 11six24. Bought my daughter a Paddletek ALW for Christmas and I like this one better. This 14mm has been a game changer! Control has improved, more than enough power, and very good pop. Handle width is awesome- no need for overwrap, and have had no need for lead. If I had a complaint the spin is mid- tier. Feels similar to the ALW when playing minus some spin but with a better grip. And the edge guard is shiny, but that might be personal preference.
