I ’ ve been playing the super soft for about 3 years( switching from a Pro V1); and have found they are much easier to control on the fairway and around the green. They are very workable: draw or fade and spin with ease. Plenty long off the tee as well; often out driving my Titleist partners.
$39.99
I like how the ball feels off the club, and still get some spin around the greens despite “ low spin ” feature. ... The flight and spin are comparable to a ProV1, they last longer and less

5
LeftyBigGuns
Honestly, I feel like these golf balls are the best value for new golfers or golfers like me, who are only slightly less than terrible. The StraightFli feature does n't really make a huge difference in the ball flight, but I do think it helps the ball fly maybe 5% straighter. Which can be the difference between landing in the tall grass or losing it in the woods. Compared to many other brands, MaxFli is the best price point for golfers like myself.

The Mizuno Pro X Golf Balls deliver impressive distance and control. With advanced core technology, they provide great distance off the tee while maintaining accuracy and spin. The urethane cover offers excellent greenside control, giving you confidence with approach shots and chips. Durability is another strong point, as the cover holds up well over multiple rounds. With a consistent ball flight, even in windy conditions, the Pro X is a solid choice for golfers looking for a high- performance ball that balances power and precision. H — highlycommended.

I purchased the new Chrome Soft to see if there was a difference from my older Chrome Soft golf ball. I enjoyed the flight off of the driver, I need to measure to see the improvement but it looks like there is a distance improvement. The ball flight from the irons was great and the action on the green acted the manner in which I wanted it to. The putting was great in that it had a great feel and roll, resulting in me making 8 one putts on my first round.
5
gary b
I read a lot of reviews about this 2026 version. I am a senior trying to reclaim some lost distance. I found one reviewer, youtube, who found 5mph increase in ball speed over the previous version with his driver. So I field tested it during a round against the new 2026 AVX. The 2026 chrome soft, for me, was consistently at least 10- 15 yards longer than the AVX. Sort of fits with that 5mph increase review. I am happy.
5

I 'm a 9 HDCP, so certainly not highest- level, but I can play a bit on a given day. So many quality balls to choose from, the reasons I love Chrome Soft are the feel primarily, and I really feel it holds up with all others in terms of distance and accuracy. I have no issue getting it to flight high and come down softly in order to hold greens. Again, I love the soft feel on and around the green too. Great stuff.

Honestly, I feel like these golf balls are the best value for new golfers or golfers like me, who are only slightly less than terrible. The StraightFli feature does n't really make a huge difference in the ball flight, but I do think it helps the ball fly maybe 5% straighter. A marked improvement over the 2024 version, this ball is longer and lands softer on the green, the new mantle is great and matches perfectly with Callaway Quantum series clubs for 2026. This is the only ball I play and practice with.

I 've used a number of golf balls in my golfing career usually opting for the cheaper ones. I 'm a high single digit index and that has worked for me for quite a while. I decided to try these as they are a step up from what I normally use not expecting much difference. I was surprised. I like the soft feel and I do n't feel like I 've lost any distance( over the Velocity's). The added benefit is that I 'm getting more spin now. Of course that means I have to learn how to control and use that spin.

I 've played ProV1s for several years, but I 'm getting older and losing speed. This ball feels soft but still has goid carry and bite on the green. Slightly cheaper does n't hurt. Good all around golf ball.

Certified skeptic here, but I gained a consistent club difference with the driver at my home course. The added bonus is these balls fly STRAIGHT. Maybe a couple yards gained with iron swings but I 've never hit anything more straight. Full disclosure.... my normal drives end up 225 to 230 and my stock 7 iron carry is about 145ish.( Humility)

I do n't think the other reviewers played this golf ball because it is an excellent overall ball. I have a ball speed between 150 to 165 mph and this ball is 3 to 5 yards longer than my current ProV1. The ball tracks true in head and side winds and has an excellent, high flight that I love. Around the greens the ball checks easily on really short chips but also stops with a yard or two of roll out when I attack the pin. The feel is outstanding from tee to green. I think people are reacting to a price point without ever playing the ball. If you care about improving your game buying good equipment is an investment, not a cost. Dropping strokes off my scorecard is important to me and the LA Golf Ball helped me do that. I think it is worth every penny.
5
Ocgolf
Great ball, I do n't think the people that gave this ball a negative review actually played the ball. This ball does a lot of great things! I am amazed at how well they made this. The only draw back is the price tag vs the prov1x 1) Great durability hitting trees, cart path or sand did n't effect the cover at all. 2) spins great on greens. Can check just as good as prov1x 3) feels good off the putter. 4) I felt the ball was more forgiving off the tee with the driver than prox1x 5) better distance with Irons than prov1x. 6) I flight higher ball flight than prov1x. 7) felts about the same in ball flight as prov1x

I love these balls. Great distance. A lot of spin on the greens… The only drawback I feel is one the price… They are the most expensive ball out there right now. And then I do feel they scuff and Mark up easily.. I don ’ t think they ’ re quite as resilient as some other balls. But I love them and I ’ ve played them for several rounds. It may be hard to step away from them.

Adam12172
These golf balls are top- tier. Off the tee, they deliver great distance with a very solid, responsive feel. The ball flight is consistent and predictable, which has helped my accuracy with both driver and irons. Around the green, they perform just as well — the feel is soft and controlled without being overly mushy, and they roll extremely true on the putting surface. The Triple Track alignment is one of my favorite features. It genuinely helps line up putts more confidently and has made a noticeable difference on short putts. Durability has also been impressive; the cover holds up well after full rounds with very little wear. Overall, this is an excellent golf ball that combines performance, forgiveness, and confidence- boosting alignment in one package. Highly recommend.

Soft feel around the green with excellent alignment help.
When selecting golf balls for optimal spin around the green, consider features such as a soft cover material, which can increase friction and enhance control. Additionally, a multi-layer construction can provide better performance on short shots. Look for balls designed specifically for greenside play, as they often have a lower compression rating that allows for greater spin.
Golf balls come in various constructions, including two-piece, three-piece, and multi-layer designs. Generally, multi-layer balls offer better spin control due to their softer covers and advanced core technologies. The construction type can significantly influence how the ball reacts on approach shots and around the greens, so understanding these differences can help you choose the right ball for your game.
Softer golf balls typically provide more spin around the green due to their ability to compress more easily upon impact. This compression allows for better interaction with the clubface, resulting in increased friction and enhanced spin. However, it's essential to balance softness with distance and feel, as some players may prefer a firmer ball for longer shots.
The dimple pattern on a golf ball significantly affects its aerodynamics and spin characteristics. A well-designed dimple pattern can enhance lift and reduce drag, allowing for better control and spin on greenside shots. Different patterns can also influence how the ball reacts when it lands, making it crucial to consider this aspect when choosing a ball for spin performance.
Yes, weather conditions can greatly impact the spin of golf balls. For instance, wet or humid conditions can reduce friction between the ball and clubface, leading to less spin. Conversely, dry and firm conditions can enhance spin, especially on greens. Understanding how these factors influence ball performance can help you make better choices based on the playing environment.
