I 've used a number of golf balls in my golfing career usually opting for the cheaper ones. I 'm a high single digit index and that has worked for me for quite a while. I decided to try these as they are a step up from what I normally use not expecting much difference. I was surprised. I like the soft feel and I do n't feel like I 've lost any distance( over the Velocity's). The added benefit is that I 'm getting more spin now. Of course that means I have to learn how to control and use that spin.

Took a flyer with a dozen, then stocked up after I saw how good they are. I played a round using a Taylormade Tour Response with a fat blue stripe, and struggled on front 9. One of the guys in the foursome said `` that ball is making me dizzy '' when I was putting it. So on the back 9 I switched to the Chrome Soft Practice. Love these golf balls. Very consistent. Buying in bulk and getting the extra dozen for free made it a great value. I do n't lose a lot of balls but sometimes they get scuffed up, so I swap them out for a new ball. I play 1- 2 rounds every week plus I have an indoor simulator so I tend to get through a lot of balls in a summer.
