I 've used a number of golf balls in my golfing career usually opting for the cheaper ones. I 'm a high single digit index and that has worked for me for quite a while. I decided to try these as they are a step up from what I normally use not expecting much difference. I was surprised. I like the soft feel and I do n't feel like I 've lost any distance( over the Velocity's). The added benefit is that I 'm getting more spin now. Of course that means I have to learn how to control and use that spin.

I do n't think the other reviewers played this golf ball because it is an excellent overall ball. I have a ball speed between 150 to 165 mph and this ball is 3 to 5 yards longer than my current ProV1. The ball tracks true in head and side winds and has an excellent, high flight that I love. Around the greens the ball checks easily on really short chips but also stops with a yard or two of roll out when I attack the pin. The feel is outstanding from tee to green. I think people are reacting to a price point without ever playing the ball. If you care about improving your game buying good equipment is an investment, not a cost. Dropping strokes off my scorecard is important to me and the LA Golf Ball helped me do that. I think it is worth every penny.
5
Ocgolf
Great ball, I do n't think the people that gave this ball a negative review actually played the ball. This ball does a lot of great things! I am amazed at how well they made this. The only draw back is the price tag vs the prov1x 1) Great durability hitting trees, cart path or sand did n't effect the cover at all. 2) spins great on greens. Can check just as good as prov1x 3) feels good off the putter. 4) I felt the ball was more forgiving off the tee with the driver than prox1x 5) better distance with Irons than prov1x. 6) I flight higher ball flight than prov1x. 7) felts about the same in ball flight as prov1x

Great ball. Feels like a pv1x off the tee and pv1 on the green. Worth it imo.

I love these balls. Great distance. A lot of spin on the greens… The only drawback I feel is one the price… They are the most expensive ball out there right now. And then I do feel they scuff and Mark up easily.. I don ’ t think they ’ re quite as resilient as some other balls. But I love them and I ’ ve played them for several rounds. It may be hard to step away from them.

Went in to get the typical Prov- 1 as everyone would does. And I was given a Mizuno ball from a friend to hit and was surprised how it played and felt. Went to Golf Galaxy a week later and they had a buy two get one free deal. The cost of this ball from the Prov- 1 was a$ 2 dollar per dozen difference. And with the get one Dozen free deal it was a no brainer. That being said I truly feel like these are right up there with the Prov's, TPX's, and Callaway golf balls. I have read a lot about Mizuno and they are getting 100% back in the golf game

Good spin, feel, speed, and durability. ... The Srixon Q- Star is a nice compromise of feel and distance. ... Distance, feel, and durability makes this a very good choice for 65+ players who may have lost distance but still want to...

Very forgiving compression rating. This 3 piece tour ball is extremely well rounded. It checks all the boxes for an older low handicap senior that still hits the ball well but does n't quite have the ball speed of their younger years. Good spin, feel, speed, and durability.

After the mygolf spy testing and reviews along with some other youtube reviews. I gave the Tour S balls a try. Im a 12 handicap and I played Prov1, chrome soft… etc But was pleasantly surprised by the Tour S. I love the low spin off the driver and surprised the green side spin. And since i purchase items from dicks sporting goods I always have a$ 10 coupon. So i was able to get a dozen Tour S for under$ 35….

Working through my third dozen and I really like these balls. I am older and hit 7 iron 150 usually high and they land soft on our greens. A really nice ball and very durable. My main reason for trying these balls was visibility. I was n't seeing good shots and some partners were not much help- we are old! This ball helps a lot with that when in the air but I still lose visibility on long drives. I do n't currently use the divide to putt during a round- I just put one color up and line up with my putter. I use the divide alignment for some practice. Never hit your partners ball and lose the hole again! Take all 3 colors out and easily check distance/grouping on 3 similar clubs Recent great sale is over but I believe it returns in the fall.

TLDR: The easiest ball to track tee shot flight mid- air. I ’ m very new to golf so take this with a grain of salt. I just started playing in 2024 and I ’ m hooked. What a fun game! Im about a dozen rounds deep now. I ’ m a gear junkie by nature so I ’ ve naturally been diving into every single piece that goes into playing a round of golf. I have not so great eyesight. The most frustrating thing for me has been losing every white ball I hit off the tee once it gets to 175 yards or so. Even when I hit a great, dead- center shot on the fairway, I can ’ t spot it in the air once it gets to a certain distance. I have to have the other golfers I ’ m playing with help me track every tee shot. It ’s annoying, time consuming, and kind of embarrassing. When I ’ m at the range with a more visible yellow ball, I still really have to scan the ground and look for a drop to be able to see where I wound up when the long irons to driver come out. And I don ’ t always spot it. These balls have vastly increased my enjoyment of playing a round. I can actually see them from the tee to the point they carry. I ’ ve found myself at a quicker pace( since I ’ m not searching for my ball off every tee) and it has truly been the most valuable purchase I ’ ve made in this sport. As green as I am, I can ’ t speak too much on performance. It ’s honestly irrelevant to me as frustrating as hitting white( and even yellow) balls has been with my poor vision. I do feel they ’ re decent in distance on a drive, good and spinny greenside, and provide a good feel when I putt though. If you have not so great eyesight, give these a try. They ’ re expensive for me since I ’ m so new but no other ball I ’ ve hit has come close at all to being this trackable in flight. Easily worth the money for me. I play the orange/ yellow ball and have no complaints, even when they do wind up in thick rough, but am curious to try other color combos.

The look of this ball is definitely unique it plays very similar to so of the high end balls like TP5 and prov1. This ball launches high for me which is a plus at my game level, plus watching the spin in action is very cool on chips and wedge shots. Would recommend to mid to high handicappers who want a quality ball for fair price

Great ball, great price. Perfect amount of spin without losing distance.
Low spin soft feel golf balls are designed to reduce spin on drives and long shots, which can help achieve greater distance and accuracy. The soft feel enhances comfort during play, providing a better touch around the greens. These balls are ideal for golfers looking to improve their performance by minimizing side spin and maximizing control.
Low spin soft feel golf balls are particularly beneficial for golfers with slower swing speeds or those who struggle with excessive spin. They can help players achieve a straighter ball flight and improved distance. Additionally, beginners and recreational players may find these balls easier to control, enhancing their overall experience on the course.
Low spin soft feel golf balls are often made with a soft outer cover, which contributes to their feel and performance. The core is usually designed to optimize energy transfer, providing a balance between softness and distance. Advanced materials and technology are employed to enhance durability and maintain consistent performance across various conditions.
Low spin soft feel golf balls generally perform well in various weather conditions due to their construction. The soft cover can provide better grip on the clubface, even in wet conditions, while the low spin characteristics help maintain distance and accuracy. However, players should consider how temperature and humidity might affect ball performance and adjust their selection accordingly.
Yes, low spin soft feel golf balls can be effectively used on all types of golf courses. Their design allows for versatility, making them suitable for both open courses and those with more challenging layouts. Players may find that these balls provide the control and distance needed to navigate various terrains and conditions.
The main difference between low spin soft feel golf balls and traditional golf balls lies in their spin characteristics and feel. Low spin balls are engineered to minimize side spin, resulting in straighter shots, while traditional balls may offer more spin for advanced shot shaping. Additionally, low spin soft feel balls typically provide a softer touch, enhancing feel and control around the greens.
