I recently purchased the Callaway Chrome Soft golf balls from Golf Galaxy, and I ’ ve really enjoyed playing with them. The feel of these balls is amazing, especially around the greens, where they provide excellent feedback and control. They also feel great off the putter, which is a big plus for me. While I didn ’ t notice significant improvements in distance compared to other golf balls I ’ ve used, the Chrome Soft delivers on its promise of low spin and consistent performance. It ’s comparable to the TaylorMade Tour Response in terms of feel, but I felt the Chrome Soft had slightly lower spin and equally solid driving distance.

I switched from the ProV1X to the Chrome Tour this winter and spring. Definitely noticed there is less spin on my drives, allowing for more consistency and distance. Even better when playing in windy conditions. The Chrome Tours still provides plenty of spin coming onto the greens. I like the fact that when playing from tight lies, the Tours back up generally 5ft to 10ft vs 10ft to 20ft with the ProV1X. The Tours fit my game best!

Honestly, this is my all time favorite golf ball. The Chrome Tour golf ball is a real game- changer. First off, the distance is amazing. Whether I 'm using a driver or my longer irons, it seems to just fly – consistently long, with a nice, piercing ball flight that cuts through the wind. I ’ ve noticed extra yards off the tee, and I can count on a solid roll when it hits the fairway. Also, this ball spins a lot on short irons into the green. The workability is another highlight. The ball feels responsive, and I can shape my shots with ease. Whether I ’ m trying to hit a fade or a draw, I have full control. It just feels great in my hands, especially when I 'm making those more touchy shots under pressure. But what really impresses me is the short game spin. Around the greens, it ’s fantastic. I can get my chips and pitches to check up quickly, even on firmer greens. The ball just grabs and holds, which gives me a ton of confidence when I ’ m trying to stop a wedge shot close to the hole. The biggest thing I noticed was how it spins on the greens from flop shots. I like to hit lop shots, and this ball execedds my expatitions for spin on flop shots. All in all, the Chrome Tour has really stepped up my game. It offers great distance, solid workability, and incredible spin around the greens. The feel is a bit firmer than most balls which I like. I want to start by thanking Callaway for supporting our service men and women. This was a deciding factor between two companies and the other starts with a T. Took a chance with the Tour X and ordered 5 dozen. Man is this ball long, great spin out of the sand, chip shots are easier now, and accuracy increased 10 fold. First time since my late 20s I took a new ball to the course and played the whole round with one ball. I will continue to buy your golf ball, in my option the best golf ball I have ever played. My gamer has been the ProV1x primarily for its spin and higher flight. However after reviewing several reviews of the Chrome Tour X, I decided to give the ball a try. Glad I did, the Chrome Tour X has been a great ball for me thus far( 8 rounds). Great feel off the putter and spins well around the green. Approach shots have been great with the ability to shape the shot. Ball flight is also to my preference hitting the window I like to give me confidence in my shot. Off the tee the ball has great distance. So far I have had a great experience with the new Chrome Tour X; out of bunkers I haven ’ t noted any more scuffs as compared to the ProV1x. I will say that this is Callaway ’s best ball design as of yet, well done!
