[ I got these in a size 7 in women ’s for 1 of 2 people that I knew could give me an honest opinion on them. It happened to be my mother who I gifted them to that works in a plant on her feet 8- 10 hours a day. As soon as she opened the box she absolutely loved the colorway she got as it can match multiple things as well as the style/look of the shoe. Once she got the shoe on foot she walked around the house and said she felt more bounce and spring in her step wearing them. She wore them to work the next day and when she came home she talked about how much her feet and back felt better after wearing them and all the compliments she got on them from co- workers who said they would be looking to get a pair as well. I bought these a year ago. They ’ re a great shoe for all types of gym workouts and for walking. I ’ m not a runner so I can ’ t comment on that specific aspect. These are a great casual shoe to wear for comfort and support. The soles are not overly thick and high like the Bondi 9 ’s. I have plantar fasciitis and I have inserts added. They worked well with my inserts. One thing that I find most attractive about this pair of Hokas is the colored gold and black strips which I find really nice to break up the visual thickness of the bottom sole. It also adds more style to the shoe.

[ Straight out of the box, the Nike Structure 26 has that wow factor. While its fun bright color is aesthetically pleasing and exciting to wear, it also helps during low light visibility conditions due to its Hyper Pink color and reflective areas on its sides. I am currently wearing it for daily activities, walks, hikes with my family and occasional runs. The underfoot has just the right amount of sink- in softness and rebounds smoothly. It is plush, stable, supportive, offers cushioning and is particularly comfortable. For this reason, I used it on recovery days as the breaking- in phase. The tongue and color have lots of padding which I am not used to but I consider them a plus. The mesh fabric is breathable and of very high quality. The fit is just right, true to size, snug enough to feel supportive and is becoming more comfortable with every use. I found the Nike Structure 26 to be more comfortable and natural than other running shoes that I own. Unfortunately, the outsole rubber in the Structure 26 is already showing some wear although it has good traction. The tongue could be a bit slimmer, but I 'm being nitpicky here. All in all, I love it and I got many compliments about its aesthetics. It 's true to size, comfortable and has extra support and stability.

Looking at them, you 'd expect them to feel heavy because of the thick sole, but they 're actually surprisingly lightweight. I usually have to buy wide shoes, but these have plenty of room without feeling too loose or restrictive. The fit is comfortable right out of the box. One thing I really appreciate is how smoothly they roll from heel to toe when walking. It just feels natural. I have plantar fasciitis, and the arch support has been great. Normally I can feel some soreness after jogging, but I did n't have any foot pain or discomfort after wearing these. My knees and hips feel great during my run as the cushioning does a good job reducing impact. These actually helped to make the pain go away. They were high and I felt really tall, but they were half a size too big. Only shoe I 've ever worn, that I can honestly say I feel like I 'm walking on clouds. My typical stance has me putting pressure on all the wrong places of my feet. I 'm usually standing in one place and shifting my weight back and forth. It has caused me foot problems. The RS Walking Sneaker is nice looking and very comfortable. I got the B& W and thought they were white but they ’ re more of an off white. Excellent shoes! I used to exclusively buy Brooks and tried these on a whim last year because I liked the assortment of colors offered. The Vomeros, in my opinion, have more cushion and bounce than the Brooks Glycerin, which are priced$ 20 higher. I have now switched exclusively to Vomeros and currently have four pairs! I bought my Echelon 10 ’s about 6 months ago or so. I wear them everyday. I ’ m on my feet everyday working in the healthcare field. These shoes have come with me as my only shoes to Germany and Austria. Hiking in the Alps, walking on cobblestone, flat surfaces, etc have been a breeze. I also exercise in these outdoor areas asking, gym, riding bikes. I have chronic foot pain and neuropathy and Echelon does not hurt my feet. I don ’ t run but these make excellent walking shoes. I do a lot of walking every week and my last pair lasted about a year. The insole compresses which is normal and the inside of the heal where your foot slides in starts to wear and look unsightly. I did notice that on the echelon 10 the ankle on the side of the shoe rubs more than the last pair. I ’ m guessing a slight change in the design made the sides of the opening higher? These are the best Paradigms yet. I have no back pain wearing these shoes and they feel amazing! Like previous Paradigms you will need to size up a 1/2 size. The most comfortable walking and standing on your feet all day show I have ever owned in my life and I am in my 50 's. People complain of heel slippage. I have very narrow heels and it does slip a little bit but you just tighten the upper shoe strings and it fixes the issue.

Paradigm 8 Wide in Black. I have wide feet and very low arch. The cushion is awesome in all areas. I have inward overpronation and this is my first shoe with guide rails to correct this and have support. It took me couple of days to get used to the rails. At the beginning I felt some moderate pain in my left arch as the guide rails do n't let you do the inward overpronation. I started wearing the shoes for 30 minutes for a walk, then next day an hour, until I was able to reach almost 8 hours between walking and seating. The left arch pain went away as I got used to the rails. So, I kept the shoes. They are what I needed for all day support. I tried the new Torin ST for support, but Paradigm 8 felt better, maybe because of all the cushion. I would buy another pair in a different color, but the other options for wide does n't include the light blue. I hope Altra makes light blue an option for wide shoes.

I love these shoes! I had two pairs of the 5s. The rubber did come off on the bottom the first week but I superglued it back on. I hiked the Tour du Mont Blanc in these babies and they did great! Love the extra cushioning and durability. Will definitely buy them again for my next long hike. The extra cushioning prevented any foot pain. I 'd say they lasted a whole summer of maybe 200 miles of hiking!

[ I have been using the Altra Olympus 6 for hiking, running, and fastpacking. This is my first time trying a full- cushion trail shoe, but I have been road running in the Altra Torin for about 6 years. After about 25 miles of mixed terrain, weather and landscapes, I feel this shoe excels in climbing and tackling dry, loose terrain. I felt stable and powerful sprinting up sandy hillsides and dusty singletrack. The shoe absorbs the impact of large gravel, and bites into turns well. I slid around a bit on large wet roots and slick rocks under the stiff midfoot but recovered quickly and happily traded that for the protection from sharp obstacles. The high stack kept my feet dry when encountering mud and puddles, while the well ventilated upper kept me comfortable on long, hot days. The contoured form around the Achilles took a little getting used to, but it worked to lock my heel on ascents; no hot spots. Laces stay tied. Altra gave me this free product to try, and I 'm looking forward to putting many more miles on it.

[ Hi! This is a review from a trail runner who prefers ground feel and minimal stack height! I 've also completed several trail ultras and marathons( trail and road) in minimal footwear. I wanted to see how this particular max cushion, high stack zero drop shoe would perform and provide comfort given an injured left heal. I have also worked in run specialty shops. I was so happy to be selected to test the Altra Olympus 6 with my particular preferences. I gave this model 5- Stars because I would and will absolutely continue to rotate this model on training runs. Especially on buffed trails, for hill repeats, hikes and any time I 'm feeling like I want a bit more cushion than I prefer. I would recommend this model over other high stack, max cushion models/brands bc of its responsiveness. Sizing and On Foot Feel: I requested a size 8. I am still torn if I would have felt even more secure and comfortable in a 7. 5. Regardless of that, I love how they feel around the midfoot, feel secure. I just would like to get them a little more snug around the midfoot, hence why I think a 7. 5 would have been perfect. Of course, I love the ample toe box space, so my toes can fully splay, but at the same time not getting smashed into the front of the shoe when going downhill. I should also mention the heel feels pretty secure as well, not too tight, but not loose, either. Under Foot Feel and Performance: This shoe is responsive and not over the top bulky. The cushioning is comfortable without being too `` squishy ''. I think that, not too squishy feel, helps reduce the perception of being on such a thick stack. Which I was concerned about b/c I though I 'd feel `` wobbly '' or have a sensation of slipping off the foot- bed. I did n't get that sensation, and that was a big positive! Activities I Tested the Olympus with: Walks with the dog, hikes, runs, hill repeats, and even a morning of race timing. Surface tested on; Trails that transition quickly between buffed and bEAST Coasty( rocks, roots, boulders). Hill repeats on a look out access road; transitions between asphalt and crushed stone surfaces. What I Enjoyed Most: I LOVED the performance of the shoes during hill repeats; security around mid- foot and the cushion for the downhill abuse on the soles of the feet. I will keep using them on those days. As well as for longer trail run days at a local nature preserve surrounded by miles and miles trails of every kind of surface.( ALTRA gave me this free product to try.)

[ I used to do some alternating running and walking for my health, but got out of it for a while. A few months ago, I got back into it, to get back in better health, so I wanted a shoe that worked well for both activities, but could also transition for long hours on my feet. These shoes seem to work well for both. They are flexible from heel to toe, but still supportive. The bottom of the shoe is pretty thick, but still has enough bounce to make them comfortable from heel strike, following through to push off with the toe. I felt like they were comfortable for all day wear, not just on the track, road, treadmill or even surfaces. It also features a mesh top, great for keeping your feet cooler when running, but not so great for keeping clean if it ’s a bit dusty or muddy or in an area prone to getting stains, like nursing can do. It ’s also not so great if you tend to work in a wet environments, as I do sometimes in home health nursing, when helping patients with their care. They do seem to have a good bit of traction, though, which is good when running or walking on semi wet surfaces, such as a road after rain or helping someone to the bathroom. They are great for going on a run straight to working on your feet, like I do, and fit comfortably, being true to size. I have wider feet, but these didn ’ t feel too narrow, nor did the toe box make my toes feel squished. Overall, these shoes are supportive for a quick workout or all day wear without the foot fatigue, and definitely worth considering if you want quality and comfort, and great for every day wear.

[ I am an active mom that runs and walks on a daily basis. My running is mostly on a treadmill but I am constantly walking during the day, miles at a time. Because of this active lifestyle I need a shoe that is comfortable and supportive. The comfort this shoe provides gives me just that. The Ariel GTS 26 feel like you are walking/bouncing on air. The Ariel GTS 26 minimize the impact of my foot when hitting the floor, which for me has helped my feet and knees. I have noticed the difference at the end of the day because my feet don ’ t hurt or feel sore. I do think the shoe itself runs a little small in terms of the length so I would probably size up a half size if I ran outside in them. I wear these shoes everyday for about 80% of the day and can ’ t imagine wearing any other shoe. They are not only comfortable but also stylish. The gray color is a great shade that pairs well with the pink. They are easy to take on and off and the traction on them are great specifically when walking down hill. The toe box on the front of the shoe helps your foot stay in place without letting your foot slide forward while also giving you a good grip to the floor when walking and running on uneven ground. Overall I would give the Ariel GTS 26 a 10 out of 10 because they have improved my everyday needs.

[ I ’ ve worn the Ariel GTS 26 shoes for about a week now, and they felt comfortable from the moment I put them on. I took my dogs for a long walk and kept waiting for that usual “ new shoe ” feeling, but it never happened. No blisters or tightness. They felt broken in from the start. As a runner, the nitrogen- infused cushioning feels soft enough to make pavement miles easier, but not so soft that I feel unsteady. The fit has been really easy. There ’s enough room in the toe box, but the shoe still feels secure and doesn ’ t slip around. Even after a couple of three mile runs, my legs felt good, which isn ’ t always the case. I ’ ve worn the shoes on sidewalks and through wet grass and feel like they have really good traction. Also, the heel pull tab is one of those little things I didn ’ t think much about at first, but I ’ ve ended up using it a lot, especially when I ’ m rushing out the door. What ’s been nice is that they don ’ t just feel good, they actually look good too. A couple of my friends have already commented on how cute they are. I just ordered my 4th pair of these. I love them and have completed several trail events ranging from 1/1 marathon distance to 50k wearing them. I even wore them when I ran the Chicago marathon last October, Honolulu Marathon in December and the Rock and Roll half marathon in Vegas in February- they were great on pavement too. Ryka shoes are my new favorites. My first Ryka purchase was a pair of Echo Knit Slip- on Sneakers and they fit like they were made specifically for my feet. Same thing with these LX Walking Sneakers. They hug the feet with no rubbing in any unwanted spots. They are lightweight, very cushioned and have excellent arch support. I have a long narrow foot and have a difficult time finding walking/running shoes that are narrow enough for my feet but Ryka, medium width are narrower than other brands I 've tried. I 'd recommend you order the wide width if you typically wear medium width in other brands. I 'd also recommend sizing up ½ size if these will be used for walking/running. I mistakenly ordered the same size as the Echo Knit Slip- ons I had- 8. 5 medium- but for running I should have ordered a half size larger. It 's too late to return them because I 've already worn them outside for a run, but they are great for just wearing around. I guess I 'll need to order a 3rd pair of my new favorite shoes!!

I personally love these. It is like walking on a cloud. It took me a few minutes to get used to the rocker bottom feeling but a lot of good sneakers are made like that these days and I actually like it now. These are lightweight and bouncy. For reference, my foot issues are: narrow heel, low volume foot, wide toe box, long toes, mild bunions. These hold my foot snuggly and beautifully and very comfortably. No heel slippage- yay!

I have had the Windswift for about a month now and I was a Brooks runner for 15+ years. These shoes have been great. I have ran outside, on the treadmill and also done some HIIT work in them. They provide stability, enough cushion but not over the top. Too much cushioning is difficult for me when doing HIIT work bc I lose stability during side to side. When running outside they have good traction on the pavement. Definitely a great running shoe.

I love the Azura for my shorter runs, and was very surprised that the Hurricane 26 are almost as fast! However, the Hurricane fit a little bit smaller that my Azuras. They appear shorter, so that my toes started touching the front a bit at the end of my run. I think I will need to go half size up from my normal 8. 5 that fits well in Azura and Speed 3. But other than that, great shoe, fun to run in for those recovery runs.

I have been wearing the Devotion X for a few years now, but, as shoes with cushiony midsoles do n't maintain support for very long, and the turnover rate is high, I have been looking for a shoe that is, at least, more environmentally friendly. While the eco creds on this shoe are not high, they are, at least, a step in the right direction. They seem to fit and perform just as well as the Devotion X, so I 'm happy with them. I hope that Ryka will continue to develop shoes that use recycled materials, will last longer, or, better yet, can be part of a closed- loop system( reclaimed by Ryka or compostable). Ultimately, these shoes are wide enough for my toes( I ordered a wide width) and provide the cushioning and stability I need to abate my hip arthritis symptoms, while also helping me feel a bit better, environmentally, about my purchase.
