Second set of these bibs. Needed to get black so I could patrol in them. Love the extra warmth, no more sagging pants or cold butt crack, extra pockets are great, have n't tested in the rain yet. Medium are a little bit long in the legs, I 'm 5ft8in 180 with 41in chest, 34in waist and 30in inseam. I just tightened the shoulder straps. Still struggle sometimes with heavier base layers fitting under the bids without the side zip and just the buttons. That would be my only improvement on them, side zip to get heavier base layers under the bids. Still does n't change my 5 star rating

You will need a base layer for real winter activities like skiing but is fine for a winter day otherwise. These are the best non Gore- Tex pants ive ever had, which is a lot. Im 6' 1 '' and the L fits well, just a little baggy, but not dragging or interfering with my bindings. The only thing i dont love is the chest velcro, a zipper would be appropriate. No lace clip on the powder cuff, no back clasp hook. Love these pants. P

Really enjoyed this outer shell jacket for snowboarding in Utah. I used a different jacket underneath for insulation and warmth, worked well without it being uncomfortable. I ’ m 6 ’ 2 ” and the length and size fit just right, the sleeves aren ’ t short or pulled up when raising my arms. The neatest thing about this, and if you have the Firefall pants/bib, is that there ’s a hook inside the jacket near your tailbone. That hook attaches to a loop that ’s affixed to the pants/bib so that the jacket doesn ’ t rise up if you should fall and down the slope while skiing/snowboarding.

[ Wearing the new Men's Firefall bib is so amazing, one could compare it to falling it love. But not any kind of love, we 're talking about the feeling of falling in love with steezing a mountain in some crazy pow... Or maybe.. It's just the feeling of steezing itself. These snow bibs have made me seriously begin to question why I have n't been steezing for longer. Steezing mountains, villages, cities, etc... I 'm 25 now and for the first time I feel like I can steez down an empire. I could take down Joffrey Lannister with a single swing of the ski pole. I could take out Khaleesi and her dragons with one swift snow blinding stop, I could defeat the entire Ramsay army by walking into the castle and demanding a surrender. The point is, you can do whatever you want in these bibs. Except for tinkle, tinkling is tough but what would you expect in a bib. The zipper will suffice, but be careful on cold days... you might lose it. Anyways, incredible bibs here that are going to last me quite a long time.

No snow or cold at my waist band, or cutting into my gut when knees come up. The price point is reasonable and good value. Function and fashion.( I now have two colors and alternate with jackets.) Leg zips to open when hiking or warm; lined and space for underlayers on brutal cold days. The long side- zip allows keeping the shoulders on while I use the toilet. In the front pocket, I can store the phone and anything else needed; it has a zip close and an internal mesh sleeve. The cuffs have a cinch so I do n't trash the pant hem, dragging on the ground. I am 66 '' tall, abut a size 6 and wear the size small- it could certainly fit a taller person too, with plenty of space in the elastic shoulder straps( and cuffs).

The brown Carhartt bibs fit my 5 ’ 3 ” daughter- in- law well. I ordered her medium- short( item 104694BRN). They have horses and want to keep warm while cleaning up after and caring for them. I love these even in spite of the train conductor jokes my coworkers make when I wear them( which is 2- 3 days a week). The fabric is a nice weight( durable yet light enough for working outside in 80- 90 degree heat) and soft. I do wish I had sized up from the `` true fit '' recommendation though. They fit comfortably now, but there's not much room for shrinkage, so I 'll have to be careful to wash cold and air- dry.( My last pair of the tan version shrunk lengthwise over time because I was too impatient to air- dry them.) For reference: my natural waist is 28- 29 inches, hips are 38- 39 inches. I 'm 5' 9, 140 lbs and I got the size small- tall. I think the medium would have fit better from crotch to waist.
