I love these ones specifically because they ’ re form fitting and flattering( they hide the mom pouch!) and they ’ re very comfortable. As an older runner who wanted a cooler short option than my usual bike- style short, finding a longer length was surprisingly difficult. But thank you, Brooks, for this 7 ” short. It is very comfortable and just long enough for me. Plus pockets! I typically wear medium but took a large for a roomy feel and the option to wear those compressive shorts as an under layer since it can be tightened at the waist. It does have a liner. Definitely recommended- I bought 2! I would love to see other color options!

Excellent fit and cut. Maybe run a little tight in the waist and hips, slim through the leg. The new AP Active fabric is amazing. Its super soft, breathable, has great stretch. I am giving 4* because the front hip pockets are awkwardly short. I have a normal sized mobile phone and it wo n't fit in those pockets( or the rear pockets) vertically. Also, I wonder about the durability of the fabric long term. That being said, I am going to get another pair. I 'd buy even more if these were a tad heavier and with 5 pocket styling.
