I love this shoe for it's stability and outdoor- ability. I do a lot of walking, training and working outdoors, and need a shoe with fantastic support and stability due to a previous foot injury. The SFB is the bomb- totally fits the bill. It has a wide platform, is supportive but flexible once worn a couple of times and it's easy to clean. I have had some trouble with the rear of the shoe wearing out, and they are 'slick' before you wear them in, but these are minor things.

I 've been wearing these for work for the previous couple years. My first pair had the carbon shank, the second pair does n't have the shank. Either way, they 've made perfect work shoes. They 're tough, take a beating, and look cool too. You should go a half size up for a good fit as these do run a bit small. I have a wider foot, which this shoe accommodates perfectly. Please Nike, do not discontinue this one for a loooooong time. Haaa, love these.

Did a plyometric session in these and they were great. Very cushioned and the carbon plate in the shoe gives good feedback. Kept my foot stable and secured. Bounding felt great in these. I have not competed in them yet, so we will see. I 'm usually a size 10. 5 but ordered an 11 because they do run small. The 11 was fine for me so I would n't worry about ordering a size up.

As a high school triple jumper I can say that this is the best triple jump spike on the market. I have tried other options and I can confidently say that if you do not have these spike you are at a major disadvantage in a competition. I have had 3 pairs and all of them are still in perfect condition to jump after 2 years I would recommend that you go a minimum half a size up if you would like them to fit snug. other than that I have no complaints about the fit. The cushion on the heel is in my option the best part about the shoe. It allows to be able to absorb the impact that face on the second phase of your jump while not taking away from that power that you can create on your first and last phase. The bottom plate of the shoe works exactly how you would want while performing your jump. the flat heal and aggressive toe design allow you to get the desired heel to toe movement that is so crucial in the triple jump. The carbon plate is very strong and helps create power in the third phase of the jump. In the next generation of the spike I would like to see firm feel of the toe much like the Adidas sp2 so that you can maximize the total push of that you are able to get in you last phase to drive you into the pit even farther.

We bought these for our 15 year old son. He uses them for both academy and high school ball. Plays as a striker and loves feel of the ball and has great touch and grip on natural grass fields. Bought for my 14 yr old son. For reference his favorite Nike model is the Nike Hypervenom Phantom 3 elite which began release in 2017. Since he outgrown his last pair in 2020, he has primarily ran through the complete Phantom elite line the last 4 years and always compared them to the hypervenoms. Since receiving these he ’s said they made up for all of the flaws of the phantom GT ’s and GX ’s. Also he complimented how the grip of the ball was better than the Hypervenom ’s which no clear he ’s tried ever came close to. Finally I am happy he ’s confident and satisfied with a clear that can provide what he needs… He wore a 9 in the GX elite start of fall and grew out of them by January so he started wearing my Hypervenom 3 ’s which are a 10. 5. We ordered him a pair of these lunar elites in a 10. 5 and his foot more skinny than full but hit gives him just enough room to grow through the summer and I ’ m sure we ’ ll be back on the market afterwards for fall. A feature I like as a parent is they have foam padding in the heel/achilles area! I thought that is an under- rated feature that adds to the comfort. We could not tell a weight difference between the Luna and the mercurial elite. Highly recommend!!!

[ Normally with these types of shoes, I have to buy them a little larger, about a half size up, I had n't done that for these shoes and had ended up with a shoe that is closer to the size I wear with other shoes that fit differently. Unfortunately, they were a bit on the tighter size but they hugged my feet well. I loved how my feet looked in these! Despite the size issue, they were still slightly comfortable to wear and to use when playing on the field. The design was unlike any other shoe that I have owned.
