The sound is perfect at max volume there is a hint of distortion but it ’s much better than most speakers. We used it for a backyard party we had and it worked perfectly and lasted the entire party. I like my Skullcandy Indy Evo. I take them pretty much every where I go. They work great for hiking. You 're every day gagging or running. I even tend to take my ear buds with me to work. I also like how they feel and fit in the ears very comfortably.
