This Old Town 106 power by Minnkota is a game changer. I would compare this to more of a one- man boat as it is so incredibly stable, comfortable and easy to use. Fishing capability and storage organization is so well thought of. It truly provides a hands free fishing experience. Battery life has been great as I can be out for 8+ hours trolling around and still have juice to spare. This is running with a normal Group 27 DC lead acid battery which is also powering my fish finder. The only suggestion for improvement would be to provide an auxiliary power connection for those that wish to run both the trolling motor and fish finder off the same battery. I had to splice in my own auxiliary power connection off the 12V main lead. Other than that this kayak has met my needs right out of the box and I would say is worth every penny. I have had it for 2 months now and every time I use it still brings a smile to my face!

This is the perfect kayak for a left handed person to operate. I almost always troll baits holding my fishing rod with my left hand and adjusting the throttle with my right hand. [ I can ’ t find anything bad to say about my Ultrex. After living with the Edge 45 for two years this is like going to a Cadillac. The thrust is awesome and the control is just spot on. Then add in the spot lock, I can pull in between two docks, spot lock and fish both docks fully. It was semi easy to install but only because I had never done one. But I had to one up him so I opted for the Quest brushless model. Absoultely amazing is all I can say. Its an Ulterra on steroids for lack of a better term. I have ran it for 3 days before charging and the power noticeably better. Mega down, mega side are a must have and amazing to say the least. My Old Town Autopilot 136 in gray Ghost Limited Edition arrived yesterday. Was wrapped nicely in heavy gauge plastic to protect it. After unwrapping and looking it over I found the Kayak to be of very thick and well- built materials. It is a heavy craft but the quality is amazing. Customer service was very easy to deal with and quite helpful getting me the answers I needed. Very spacious kayak and lots of room for everything I want to add. Cons- I wish they gave an option for aluminum rails to replace the plastic ones. Though the plastic ones are strong I just like heavy duty for fish finders etc. I also wish they would list the model number of the included trolling motor to make it easier for looking up spare or backup parts. Would I recommend this kayak to friends? without a doubt.

Purchased in May 2021, I upgraded from a paddle kayak when I found my AP120. I love to fly fish and this kayak allows me to slowly troll while standing and tossing flies around. Also the ability to lock into one spot and fish without an anchor is a game changer. The peddle kayaks are nice but not an option for me because I really enjoy standing while fishing most of the time with the option to sit when desired. Kayak is very stable and I feel completely balanced while standing. I use the lead acid battery for the motor and I 'm able to fish two full days on the water sun up to sundown without having to recharge the battery. I 've taken it out approximately 25 times in 5 months now and absolutely love it! Remote is very user friendly and if you hook into a big one you can quickly turn the motor off easily with a push of a button while standing if the fish makes a run directly under your Yak. The only downside is the kayak is heavy especially with a lead acid battery, but a good kayak cart takes care of that. highly recommend.

I went back and forth between The 106 Sportsman powered by MK and the Auto Pilot. I pulled the trigger on the Auto Pilot and I am so glad that I did. Not having to fuss with an anchor anymore is a total game changer. The boat is stable, and super comfortable to be on the water for extended periods of time. There is ample storage and very well though our features every where you look. I fish in south west Florida, and it is incredible to be able to stand and sight fish Snook, and Reds on the flats while controlling the kayak from the remote!!! I have been fishing from the AutoPilot 120 for about 6 months in a variety of conditions and I am extremely pleased with capabilities of the is kayak. I have always been a bit skeptical of `` motor powered '' kayaks but the technological features of the AutoPilot intrigued me. As someone who does a lot of trolling the ability to maintain a constant troll speed in the face of wind and current is absolutely amazing. I frequently use the heading feature to `` set it and forget it '' and am able to have everything prepped by the time I get to the fishing grounds or get back to the launch. The real magic of this kayak is built into the motor which I power with a lithium 100ah battery. I 've never come close to draining the battery even with 10+ hrs on the water. Deploying and stowing the motor is easy. The deck and storage space is more than ample. The chair is very comfortable. If I had to be nit- picky my biggest complaints would be that the gear track is too far forward forcing me to use extensions on my rod holders to make them reachable when trolling and limited access to the inside of the hull.

It's been a couple weeks since we got our Mariner, we 've taken it out a few times already. It take less than 15 minutes for my teenage daughter and I to get it ready, to include the motor mount and motor. It blows up in 5 separate sections, all are easy access and quick to do. Spent several hours out on the lake each time with no issues. We had 3 members in the boat, once you get to 4 it does get a little crowded. This boat was the best investment iv' e ever made. Took my buddy to a lake for the first ride, and it made our summer the best one yet. This tank can support a large cooler full of drinks and food, two grown men, a 10 lb anchor, a 65 lb battery, a trolling motor, 2 life jackets, and a dry box. I could not believe how easy it was to set up whilst providing a comfortable `` water couch '' like experience. We were on the water for 10 hours and had to be ripped off to go home and live a normal life. This boat has made me acquire a hatred for land. Its too dry. The fact that I can bring a buddy or two in my small sedan, drive out to a lake, and rip this bad boy out of my trunk and have it set up and ready to go within 20 minutes is unbelievable. The price is just baffling for the product you get. Intex could increase the price on this boat, and I would buy it again for no reason at all. Maybe hang one above my mantle. The thick rubber edge guard is made of an extraterrestrial material that allowed us to bump into stones in which we were sure each one was gong to be the last. After our trip last weekend, we have decided we will go every Saturday, and I do not imagine it getting old. I sought to buy an electric air- pump but the high- output pump they provide is honestly good enough. Its like 1- 2 minutes each section if you just power through it. It makes the reward of getting on the water that much better. You know when a product provides its own carrying case, it always seems they sized it to the vacuum sealed packaging, and you can never get it to fit?( e. g a tent) NOT the bag Intex provides. If you just read the instructions and provide the boat with the care they recommend, you will have no problems at all. Cleaning it is a small chore but its part of the luxury of having a boat. I laid it out in the backyard and just hit it with the hose, and used a soft sponge to rub off any stuck dirt. Let it dry out in the sun for a bit, then pack it away. I do n't imagine this boat ripping or popping unless it is the users fault. The floor is even extremely durable. I considered making a wood floor like all of the mods you see on google images, but I do n't see a reason to after trying it. We were mesmerized at the fact you could set a full, open- drink can on one of the floor slats, grab the edges of the boat and vigorously try to rock it back and forth and the can would barely budge. Even if you hate the water, get this boat. The only reason we got wet was by jumping in the lake. We had a blast dropping anchor, throwing on our life jackets jumping in, and just floating on our backs while holding the boats grab line to stay in place. If you 're thinking about buying this boat, just get it. You will not regret a thing.

We used to have the Mariner 4 and had to let it go during an international move. I like this more because it is lighter to carry, has more sitting space, and the floor is softer to sit on. The only downside of this vs the Mariner 4 is that it can hold less of a motor, but I am not planning to use it with a motor. Another small downside is that if you take some water into your mariner 4 you stay dry because it settles below the floor, if you take enough water into this with kids and dog getting in and out, you start sitting in water, which is not as ideal. Seems strong enough that it is going to last.

We purchased this to float the river and it was perfect! We spent 7. 5 hours on the water, and this boat made for the best day. It's very roomy and durable. There were only 2 of us in the boat along with our coolers, but we could have easily had another person or 2 join us and it would have still been enough space. I would highly recommend this boat!

Hello Friends.... We purchased this Boat with the mount and motor and this is a true review so please read it. The boat overall is awesome and so much fun!! I inflates and deflates super quick and the set up is about 30 min total to be on the water with the motor and mount. Super comfortable and easy to set up and take down. It's pretty heavy but a stronger 1 man can handle it. if not handles allow for 2 people to carry. Here is what I have a problem with....... 1. 5 person??? ummmm i do n't think so...... Maybe if you do n't have a motor and a battery MAYBE.... but it's going to be super tight with 5 ADULTS plus some cooler. I 'll say 4 adults without Motor...... 3 adults with Motor. Or if you have kids no problem 2 adults 2 children. Def. not 5 adults though..... you will not have room to cooler or other items. 2. There should be an canvas roof attachment for separate purchase..... the boat gets super hot in direct sunlight and you pretty much cook. I built my own one so i 'm good on that end but there should be an option to purchase perfect fit one. 3. Pump........ No way that you will like to use the hand pump they should include a electric pump that uses outlet and car outlet. It's a waste of money for them to include that into the box because no one will ever use that. BUY A ELECTRIC ONE... Thank me later. 4. Cup holder........ Again there should be an attachment for cup holders..... they thought about rod holders but not cup holders I mean if you are on the water of course you need water, beer, pop on the boat if part of fun..... so def. would need a cup holder..... but i 've made my own. Overall..... I give 5 stars for this boat cause i 'm handy and i could customize things for this boat you can also YOUTUBE some videos of other people doing cool stuff to the boat. This is the 4th Lifetime Kayak I ’ ve owned. It ’s by far the most stable which is crucial for somebody such as myself who frequently has one of my young kids or my petite Labrador retriever abroad. Sometimes both at the same time. I can comfortably maneuver around to grab/move gear around while on the water. The seat is very comfortable which makes it ’s easier when paddling for long periods of time. The only thing I ’ d change is the weight of the kayak. Aside from that, I highly recommend it to anyone seriously considering it for leisurely paddling, fishing, or even hunting out of

I have owned 2 other kayaks and this is the first kayak I didn ’ t feel like was going to tip over when I am in choppy water or catch waves from bigger boats, which is important to me because I usually fish bigger bodies of water. I stood up in it and casted and felt very comfortable doing it. I like where Lifetime placed the wheels on this because it is easy to move around on solid ground and the kayak doesn ’ t want to tip over because how far apart they placed them. The Manta is surprisingly easy to paddle for how big it is and tracks very well. My favorite feature is the four rod holders on the back. I put a fishing net in one of them and put three rods in the others. I like that I can keep the rods out of my way while paddling to my spots and can easily get to them when I am ready to fish.

I had the opportunity to be chosen to receive and review the new Manta Angler from Lifetime Products. Took it out for a couple hours before we got rained out. I was pleasantly surprised with the ease of paddling and how well it tracked. I expected it to be more cumbersome with the width and shape but it performed alot better than anticipated. It even glided with decent momentum when not paddling. Same thing with turning. I did n't have a problem maneuvering it around. The stability standing up was amazing. I felt quite comfortable moving around and never felt `` tippy, '' or like I had to compensate for balance. The stand assist strap is great. I really like the front bar for an anchor and like the addition of the 2 pole holders behind the seat to make 4. I 'll probably use the extra to put my nets. The handles we 're great for loading/ unloading. The wheels underneath are nice for ease of maneuvering around while getting ready, but I would question the longevity of the plastic material and would n't rely on it too much for long- distance transport. The rear storage well did seem a little shallow upon first look, but after taking it out, I feel the stability makes up for that. It does have a ton of space and overall deckspace, which is awesome. I 'll probably add a couple of padeyes to the center of the kayak to hook stuff to. The gear tracks are made of plastic but feel solid. The front gear tracks and rod holders are a little too forward to comfortably reach on the water but could be used for different things or Gopros when banked. Same concept with the front hatch, but that's typical with front storage on all kayaks. The stability DOES allow you to crawl forward and reach them or reach them while standing. The adjustable footpeg design and being able to adjust the distance while sitting is great. The trolling motor mount I have n't installed yet( I dont own a trolling motor) is a great feature as I see a lot of people rigging their kayaks trying to figure out how to mount one.( I might actually buy one now that im getting older.) I did choose to use the paddle that came with it because, well they 're nice enough to provide one and was actually quite impressed with it. Lifetime stepped their game up with the paddle. I felt little to no flex and never felt the need to switch to the spare paddle I brought. Overall, I really like the kayak and will definitely get a lot of use out of it. I feel they definitely hit the nail on the head for what it's advertised as. A super stable fishing kayak at a great price.

[ This new kayak is laid out very well! It was very easy to rig mine out. Bow to stern includes as the upgrades that users have been asking for, from bigger hatch, predrilled wiring ports and power pole mounts on both sides of the stern. You can customize the kayak however you wish without many DIY solutions. I ’ ve decked out mine with gear and love it!

Old Town did an amazing job listening to consumer feedback when doing the redesign of the new features. The kayak has everything I love about the standard PDL models, with all of the new features that I 've been wanting! Still extremely stable and easy to pedal, but now has a ton of new features that make fishing out of a kayak even more enjoyable.
