This is my third purchase and installation of a YakGear anchor trolley kit. I loved it on my first two kayaks and had to have it for my new Pelican Catch 100 also purchased from Dick ’s. I often fish areas where winds and/or currents carry me away from a hot spot and force me to quit fishing in order to paddle back to where the fish are. The trolley allows me to stay put and to be pointed in the right direction at the same time. Installation was easy thanks to multiple how- to videos on the internet. Only tools required are a drill and a Phillips screwdriver or rivet gun. Great product at a good price.

I wish there was a better way to install the nuts heads and that such nuts are difficult to install without a second pair of hands. Rope seems soft but has n't worn out after a few years use. Just something I keep an eye on. Works well. We were needing a system that allowed us to hang our two 12' kayaks on our garage wall, and allow easy access by one or two individuals, when needed. This system seems very sturdy and does not use up more space than is needed to hold both kayaks. The product instructions gave suggestions for best installation distance between the arms, but we wished we had measured our paddles before deciding distance to place the arms.

The rack system came before expected delivery date. More impoertantly it was easy to install and is very sturdy. I have both of my 10 foot kayaks up out of the way now. I also have the paddles behind the top kayak on the rack and rigged another pole acroos the front of the top kayak on the rack to hang our five lacrosse sticks. Very pleased with purchase.

I am very happy with my purchase of the Malone J- dock Kayak& Gear storage rack. Installation was easy. I did use a bigger drill bit than instructed to drill the pilot holes for the screws, and used socket rather than a wrench to make it easier on myself. The whole installation was about 20 minutes. Once installed, placing my kayaks in the cradles took about 10 minutes. The straps to hang the second kayak did not ratchet as easily as I would have liked, and I suggest using your own straps, having help to take weight off the straps while you ratchet them up, or using something under the kayak to hold it up while you tighten the straps. Either way, once they kayak is up and the straps tightened the kayaks are secure and the system is great! I also liked having the ability to store my paddles on the rack.

We just purchased and set up the rack last week( Jan. 2023). We also purchased the casters( separately) so we could easily move the kayaks in and out of the garage. I plan to get additional J- hooks to attach so it will hold the paddles too. We are very pleased!

Just bought this a week and a half ago, arrived very quick, 3 days tops. Put it together in a maybe an hour, was a fun project for me and the man. Goes great on the porch, such a space saver for our kayaks! Spaced out the hooks more than what the picture shows and they fit great our 3 are 10 footers. No more kayaks on the floor or tilted against the wall.. its so sturdy that I stubbed and broke my pinky toe on the foot of it not even a week after having it! It blends well with the carpet on the porch, so be careful of the feet that stuck out fairly far.. besides me being clumsy, I absolutely love this product!

I am new to this sport but wanted to store my kayak correctly so I bought this product based on others taking the time to write a review. I am using it for 2 kayaks and it doesnt move one bit putting the kayaks on and yes it did take more time to put together than it would of had the parts been labeled with numbers or letters or if the instructions had been in color but it did go together and works great.

We bought this a week ago to store two kayaks outside in our carport. We had to buy a 2x4 to hang it between two support posts that were too far apart to use for the sling, but everything else came included in the package as advertised. Our kayaks weigh about 45 lbs each and it did take two of us to get them in the sling, but I think one strong person could do it alone, especially the bottom one. Price was great, under$ 30. Hopefully it will last as it is protected from sun and rain.

I recently bought 2- 10 ft emotion renegade xt kayaks and was needing a place to store them. This sling is perfect for this. Super easy installation and hanging and removing kayaks are simple.
