[ I am Handicapped, so I find myself floating on my Bote 10 x 10 Inflatable Dock on my Bote Aero Couch with my phone in my Bote Highwater Hitchhiker. With its magnitized `` disc, '' I rest assured when I sit it on my Bote Aero Table, it's SAFE! If my kids want to use it on the Bote FLOATube, they can... Was able to easily install into a wall stud and it keeps the kayak off the floor and out of the way. I placed the J hooks high enough that when I want to use the kayak I can just flip the kayak onto the car rack. This eliminates lifting off, down and back up again.

Easy to install, sturdy once it is. Can hold a 14. 5- foot- 80lb. tandem. Depending how low or high you put on your wall, the trick to placing a long and heavy kayak is to slide it from one side to the other, rather than lifting it over the hooks.

The rack system came before expected delivery date. More impoertantly it was easy to install and is very sturdy. I have both of my 10 foot kayaks up out of the way now. I also have the paddles behind the top kayak on the rack and rigged another pole acroos the front of the top kayak on the rack to hang our five lacrosse sticks. Very pleased with purchase.
5
FLGemini
We were needing a system that allowed us to hang our two 12' kayaks on our garage wall, and allow easy access by one or two individuals, when needed. This system seems very sturdy and does not use up more space than is needed to hold both kayaks. The product instructions gave suggestions for best installation distance between the arms, but we wished we had measured our paddles before deciding distance to place the arms.
5
ejj
Prompt delivery and product lives up to expectations. Quick and easy to install. Sturdy enough for kayaks, oars, life rafts, floats& more.
5
Jozigirl
I am very happy with my purchase of the Malone J- dock Kayak& Gear storage rack. Installation was easy. I did use a bigger drill bit than instructed to drill the pilot holes for the screws, and used socket rather than a wrench to make it easier on myself. The whole installation was about 20 minutes. Once installed, placing my kayaks in the cradles took about 10 minutes. The straps to hang the second kayak did not ratchet as easily as I would have liked, and I suggest using your own straps, having help to take weight off the straps while you ratchet them up, or using something under the kayak to hold it up while you tighten the straps. Either way, once they kayak is up and the straps tightened the kayaks are secure and the system is great! I also liked having the ability to store my paddles on the rack.

I chose to clamp the straps to the I- beam along the centerline of my garage until I get wall space. The system fits my two large- bow kayaks just fine, with enough strap left over after cinching to tie off the paddles and PFDs as well. If you 're able to lift the end of your kayak one person can hang two kayaks in just a couple of minutes.

I am new to this sport but wanted to store my kayak correctly so I bought this product based on others taking the time to write a review. [ I ’ ve been using the big river bag for my motorcycle touring now for 5 years and they hold up to the weather and the rough use I put these through. Now with this updated bag with the additional loops on its sides. This is a PERFECT bag with much more possibilities to attach anywhere on the motorcycle. Very happy with the bag and is my go to bag for packing. I have the 3/8/13/20/35 and the 65 liter river bags. YES, they are that good! Use these for motorcycle tours and kayaking.

I ’ ve used several of sea to summits lightweight dry bags in the past. The lightweight bags are great for application where abrasion is minimized but a susceptible to getting small holes in rough environment or after heavy use. The big river bag is the perfect heavier duty compliment to the lightweight dry bag for applications like kayaking, bikepacking and other adventures where you need to keep items out of the elements but where abrasion can ’ t be entirely avoided. I ’ ve used the 13L size in a few of my whitewater kayaks including my half slice and it a great size to slide behind the seat. Never had a drop of water get in. I like the 13L size, it could easily fit a sleeping bag and a light layer in it. Have yet to get it out on a bike packing mission but expect the lash points will be nice to have. We originally were considering Gecko's drawstring style dry bag, but decided this bag looked like better quality level for our needs. This bag was exactly what we needed. We took it on a river float trip, and it was perfect. The lower half was submerged for nearly the entire 3 hours and everything stayed dry. It held our sunscreen, t- shirts, hats, keys, etc with plenty of room. We did put phones and keys in ziplocks just in case, since it was our first time using it and wanted to make sure we were closing it correctly. The strap made carrying and tying down to the tube easy. I would definitely recommend it. The only thing is to make sure you roll down the top enough to ensure a good seal. It says on the bag to roll `` at least 3 times '' but I would recommend rolling basically until you reach the top of your contents.

I have used a lot of different shapes and sizes of the Bill's Bag over the years. The 65 is my favorite size for summer time, inflatable kayaking, or going light on the cat boat. I have had some failure with the plastic buckles in the past, mostly human error by smashing them in the frame or tail gate by accident. I was excited to use the new metal fastening system. They worked really well, except in the cold weather with cold hands. It is a little harder to fit the metal hook through the webbing. I see it as a trade off for a super secure system. The material is also super solid and dry.

This was really easy to install. Be sure to look closely at the pictures! The text descriptions were almost no help. How do you `` dress '' a pulley anyway? So I 've been wanting to upgrade my stock compression bag that came with my sleeping bag for a while now, and wow is the Evac HD absolutely perfect. The 35 L size makes getting a bulky sleeping bag in and compressed a cinch, and the rugged material is perfect for mounting on the outside of a backpack! What's the most impressive, though, is the eVent technology that really allows the sleeping bag to be compressed more than any other type of dry bag, as the air can be pushed out of the bottom through the eVent material. Frankly, I 'm absolutely thrilled with this thing!
5
Drew C.
I have been using the eVac dry bags for years. They are a great way to keep sleeping bags and extra layers dry while gaining room in your bag. The new HD fabric is bomber. I will use it with a roll- top dry bag to keep my sleeping bag dry all summer on the river. These are the best compression bags I have ever used.

There are various types of boating gear storage solutions designed to accommodate different needs. Options include wall-mounted racks, waterproof storage boxes, and adjustable straps for securing kayaks and other equipment. These solutions help keep your gear organized, protected from the elements, and easily accessible when needed.
Maximizing space for boating gear storage can be achieved through vertical storage solutions, such as wall racks and hooks. Utilizing waterproof boxes for smaller items can also help keep them organized and secure. Additionally, consider using adjustable straps to hang kayaks or other larger equipment, freeing up floor space.
Boating gear storage solutions are typically made from durable materials that can withstand outdoor conditions. Common materials include heavy-duty plastic for waterproof boxes, metal for racks and hooks, and weather-resistant fabrics for straps. Choosing high-quality materials ensures longevity and protection for your gear.
Waterproof storage options are highly recommended for boating gear, especially if you frequently use your equipment in wet conditions. These storage solutions protect your gear from moisture, dirt, and potential damage, ensuring that everything remains in good condition. They are particularly useful for items that are sensitive to water exposure.
When selecting boating gear storage, consider the size and type of your equipment, the available space in your storage area, and the level of protection needed. Additionally, think about ease of access and organization to ensure that you can quickly retrieve your gear when needed. Durability and weather resistance are also important factors to ensure your storage solution lasts.
