I 've spent many years fishing summer Walleyes on Mille Lacs after dark. This is a must for nigh bobber fishing. It rides well in waves and has a nice width to stay up in the water. It allows you to see the light clearly and you can see it underwater as well as it's going down. I use the 5 '' and Walleyes between 16 '' and 30 '' never seem to feel it go down. If you 're using something else for a lighted bobber, give this a try.

Light up bobbers are fishing floats equipped with built-in lights that enhance visibility during low-light conditions, such as dawn, dusk, or nighttime fishing. They typically use LED technology to provide bright illumination, making it easier for anglers to see bites and monitor their lines. These bobbers can be powered by batteries or other light sources, ensuring they remain functional for extended fishing sessions.
Light up bobbers provide several advantages, including improved visibility in dark conditions, which can lead to more successful catches. They help anglers detect subtle bites that might go unnoticed with traditional bobbers. Additionally, these illuminated floats can attract fish, making them an effective tool for night fishing or in murky waters.
Yes, light up bobbers can be used for various fishing styles, including freshwater and saltwater fishing. They are particularly beneficial for night fishing, ice fishing, or fishing in low-light environments. However, it's essential to choose the right size and weight of bobber based on the type of fish you are targeting and the fishing conditions.
When selecting a light up bobber, consider factors such as size, weight, and design. Larger bobbers may be more visible but can be cumbersome in windy conditions, while smaller ones are less obtrusive. Additionally, consider the type of water you'll be fishing in and the species you aim to catch, as these factors can influence the effectiveness of the bobber.
Light up bobbers are typically made from durable materials such as plastic or foam, which provide buoyancy and resistance to water absorption. Many also feature LED lights that are designed to withstand exposure to moisture and rough conditions. The choice of materials can affect the bobber's weight, visibility, and overall performance in various fishing environments.
