I live in a cold and icy place. I was needing a boot that I did n't need to lace up, kept my toes a bit more warm, and had traction. This boot is that! I previously was wearing my blundstones but on- 20 F nights I just was n't having it anymore! I 've now been wearing these Bogs for a few weeks and in( almost) all sorts of condition. They were definitely a bit stiff the first 2 weeks I 'd say. But now my foot easily slips in and out of the shoe. I noticed a little bit of rubbing on my ankle in those first two weeks but that has gone away. I have high arches and usually put some inserts into my shoes. I tried that for a bit with these and found it to be a little tight. They are comfortable without the inserts but I might try again in the future once they are completely broken in. Overall, happy with my purchase! I have only kind of slipped on the ice once- which is great great improvement from before! Woohoo!

I live in Minnesota. Just purchased my second pair of the exact same Bogs because they are so great. They are as warm as my hearty Sorel Caribou's but lightweight, easy to just step in and out of, and comfortable enough to wear driving. I wear them everyday, all winter long.

OMG I CAN NOT say enough about these boots.... I will be ordering them in all 3 colors. I had yet to find a hiking boot that didnt cause me foot pain, blisters, or hot spots.... until now. These fit my feet perfectly. The toe box is typically where i struggle with hiking boots- blisters and pain of the great toe and medial ball of foot. Even while breaking these in I did not experience either of these issues. I have tried SO many other brands without finding the right fit.... i resorted to hiking Montana's Mountains in luna sandals because i could not find a hiking shoe/boot that didnt cause foot pain. Needless to say sandals and mountains are not ideal BUT they were better than the issues i had prior to trying these bogs boots! These will be the only hiking boot i will ever wear!!! PLEASE DO NOT CHANGE OR DISCONTINUE this item!!!

These shoes exceeded my expectations when I received them in the mail. Most importantly, they 're comfortable. They 're warm, but not too heavy. Perfect for running errands or adventures in the pumpkin patch. I love the height, too. They 're easy to slip on& off and look so cute with cropped pants. The olive green color goes great with lots of different color combos( jeans/blacks/browns). These will be a staple piece for me in the coming weeks as the colder weather sticks around.

I do n't mind these boots but they feel more like a winter boot than a rainboot. They are quite heavy for a rainboot and they rub on your lower calf/upper ankle if they 're not snug. I wish I would have went down a half size or worn thicker socks. You must wear taller socks so it does n't rub on your skin. Overall, they are a great boot and it's almost like they have a dual purpose; rainboot and winter boot.

I wear sz 6 shoes and regular boots, but the local store only had sz 7, which were too big so I ordered 6- 1/2. They 're slightly roomy, perfect with thicker socks and fine with regular socks. Great fit. I wear a solid 9 across most shoe brands but read past reviews on Bogs being small sizing. I purchased the size 11 in this shoe, and did n't even need to break them in. Size 11 fit me perfectly, given I will wear these with really thick socks while I 'm trekking around Alaska.

Bought this Chelsea boot to wear around NYC around Christmas( and light hiking in parks) with some ice and light snowfall on ground- super flexible, water proof, my wide high arch bunion feet are happy with no break in period. Seriously worn them on planes, trains, city walking,( carefully) on icy snow park, subways etc. I wish there were more colors- a cool one pink would be awesome.
