My two daughters and I love beating this guy up! We are studying 7 Star Praying Mantis Kung Fu, and they are only 6 and 8, so they ca n't really hold the practice pads while I give it my all on kicks and punches. This is also so much better than a traditional bag to me, because you know exactly where your kicks and punches land. Uppercut to the chin, kick to the head, punch to the abdomen, etc. Takes a lickin and keeps on tickin. I have sand in mine, and usually use it in my garage which has a carpeted floor. I purchased a cheap handtruck to move him around easily. If we want to train in the driveway, I roll him out. If we want to train in the back yard, I roll him out, etc. My daughters renamed him though. His new name is Darthon Deathicon. Which aparently is a villainous character on a newer Scooby Doo.

Good but can do better. It's a great bag overall. It says to put 60 pounds of sand but you really need at least 75 pounds on it to keep it from moving when your hitting it. It is slower than a cobra bag because the spring is at the bottom, so if you want a fast bag do n't get this one. I filled the base with water and it is about 40 lbs., light enough to move but still stays in place. I do n't hit this bag that hard because that's not what it's for. If I really smack it, the base will rock. Not for heavy hitting. But it would be a good addition to your gym if you want to have different bags for different purposes.

Wonderful product. I used to workout at a gym all the time. However, I prefer to workout at home for convenience. I love bag work to help strengthen the overall body. The bag is more thick and durable than I expected it to be. It ’s not as easy to bust and break like the 3 other sets I have bought from another place. This bag meets every requirement you would need out of a muay thai bag. It is a sand/paper bag and I 've used it a few times so I do n't have any long tern test results. The leather appears to be very well stitched together and thick. I would have liked if it had another sewn in strap at the bottom for anchoring the bag but I do n't believe that is common practice with Thai bags.
