Compared to other speed bags I purchased, the quality and craftsmanship is top notch. The only problem is the rubber bladder went flat in only one day. I contacted Ringside( Mfg) and was told that some bladders sitting on the shelf for long periods have resulted in wall- thinning and so they do n't hold air as designed. Ringside planned on sending me a replacement, however, I have n't seen it in 2 weeks( from date of reporting air loss). I 'm hopeful once the bladder arrives I 'll be back in business and will be glad to have purchased this bag.

This bag meets every requirement you would need out of a muay thai bag. It is a sand/paper bag and I 've used it a few times so I do n't have any long tern test results. The leather appears to be very well stitched together and thick. I would have liked if it had another sewn in strap at the bottom for anchoring the bag but I do n't believe that is common practice with Thai bags.

I would say to disregard any of the negative reviews about this bag, saying it's flimsy. I almost steered clear of it for that reason until I checked exactly which heavy bags we have at my MMA school and many of them are these models. Yes, they 're softER than some bags could be, but they 're definitely up to par for real training. My guess is that whoever rated them as flimsy got a misfire bag, which could happen 1 out of a few hundred with any brand. I have n't broken mine in yet but when it arrived I was actually surprised that it was even stiffer than the ones we have at the MMA gym. I would definitely recommend this bag.

This heavy bag is worth every penny! Leather is always better and easier on your hands and shins when kicking which I do. The quality of the stitching on the whole bag and especially around the leather fasteners that hold the chains is superior to less expensive heavy bags. That is an important feature to me. After a failed attempt to buy this product from a martial arts discount store online, I purchased this from Dick ’s. The price and speed of delivery was excellent. I was also impressed with the financial options for purchase. The item comes in two boxes to help with cost of shipping and size of the shipping container. Everything was carefully packed and protected. The only downside of the whole process was with the delivery company. Instead of placing it on my porch they left it down by driveway where it could have easily been stolen. Had I not been waiting at home for the delivery I it could have been stolen.
