fantastic customer support, and a perfect hiking pack For picky daughter. We hid some of the Appalachian Trail in Virginia and it was ideal for her needs. I bought this for my 2 year old daughter, who is just starting to hold her own on hikes. It's adjustable enough that, even though it's still a little big, she can carry it comfortably with water in it. I grabbed this for cycling, but brought it this weekend on a trip to Red River Gorge. Brought it along on Saturday when we did an 11 mile hike in 90 degree heat and this thing saved the day. Enough water to keep both my fiancé and me moving. Without ice the water stayed cool for hours. Fit is super comfortable. Holds a ton of food, gear, and water. Build quality seems good. Great pack for the price. Really happy with the purchase.

Hikerboy
Such a good bag, 100 oz of water is 4x my large yeti and the bag still has so much room I fit in an additional shoulder bag, snacks, some accessories and some green, and still had the half of the largest pouch not taken up by the water pouch. Bag is comfortable and stylish. Reservoir for water is incredibly well thought out and comes apart easily and in enough places that making sure the pack is dry after use is a breeze. Nice quality straps, small footprint and breathable materials means your back isn ’ t burning up. I ’ d say if you ’ re looking for a pack that will last you a long time and hold up as well as serve you well for carrying most if not all of the things you ’ ll need for 1/2 day hikes, you will be incredibly happy with this bag!

Saw this item in store and I immediately knew I had to buy it. I wanted a 3L camelback that was small and had pockets. This fit the picture perfectly. No leak issues, small and light. Had enough water for a good hike. It is pricey at 90$ but I felt more comfortable buying this after getting sketched out by Amazon reviews on other products.
5
Day Trippee
Nice size for my 9 year old son. He used it on our trip and the water capacity is large enough so that he never was thirsty on our hikes. Only drawback is that the pack does get heavy when all the water was filled. But the pockets and compartments make it easy to store snacks and some lightweight layers to increase its utility purpose.

I 've been purchasing Camelbak packs going on 16 years and now have at least one designated to each activity I do; running, MTB, Cycling, Hiking, and working outside. I would say I still love the fit and durability of each different style I have( the one I use for working outside is the first Rogue I purchased in 2008), and I 'm really happy Camelbak finally upgraded the bite valve design, but the added magnetic clip placement still needs a more permanent home to affix to on the shoulder strap or chest strap, or something. When the only place to affix it to is somewhere along the adjustable side of the chest strap it's just never in a constant place to mindlessly clip it back in. Otherwise, I 'm still a loyal and satisfied user.

I was looking for a lightweight hyrdation pack to use while cycling. This rig meets all of my requirements except for one... the process of getting rid of the plastic smell and taste of a new unit. Seems like Camelback could develop a consumer product or provide specific guidance on how to resolve this issue. I found several YouTube videos offering advice but none have worked completely yet. Otherwise, I am very pleased with the product.

Love how much variety this pack offers! From the trail to the airport, this pack really does it all. I took this pack on a trip to California where I had to pack light, but needed to bring my work laptop and knew I 'd be doing some hiking. It was the perfect pack for the job! It was great for travel and fit everything I needed for a plane ride and easily transitioned to a hike once I got to my destination. It really has the perfect amount of pockets- I love the front `` shove it '' pocket and the interior mesh pocket to keep thing organized. It also has a small pocket on the inside for its rain cover( which is included!) which came in handy while I was on my trip! My favorite feature of the pack is the included water bladder with magnetic connection points that keeps the hydration hose secured to the backpack strap. I 've never had a pack/bladder with this and I 'm obsessed. This pack has very intentional and thoughtful features and I 'm stoked to have it in my gear arsenal. On top of the features, I love how stylish and clean the design on the pack is. This is now a go- to pack for me and I know I 'm going to get a ton of use out of it. Can not recommend this pack enough!

This bag perfect for any and all adventures. It provides just the right amount of space for extra layers, food, and all the necessities. The included rain cover is great, but the retract hydration system is my favorite. No more fussing with keeping the hose in place! This has become my go to bag for everything from commuting to the backcountry.

Love the removable tube ... Was very happy with the changes they have made: new bite valve design and hose disconnect at the bladder. ... Glad to be able to get replacement
5
Aweinst2
I bought this as a replacement for a 10- 15 year old reservoir. This one seems like better quality than my old one and I love the removable drinking tube. Makes filling and dumping out excess so much easier. I do n't notice a huge difference with the big bite valve and whether there is `` 20% more '' water with each drink. I was a little worried that the shape looks different but still fits in my hydropak perfectly. The cap is also easier to remove than on my old one.

TravelMom
I bought this for my kids for travel( 9yo& 11yo boys), so they could carry a water bottle, sunglasses, deck of cards, etc. I may borrow it from them on occasion, since it ’s more functional than my Osprey Daylite sling. Love that it fits a 24oz Stanley Aerolight comfortably, while still being able to accommodate all the essentials. I tested it out with 24oz insulated bottle, medium wallet, keys, sunglasses in hard case, sunscreen, 1st aid kit, brush, hand sanitizer, chapstick, AirPods, packable grocery bag& phone. It also fits a 1. 5liter hydration pack for hiking, although I didn ’ t test it filled, but seemed to still have good capacity. If you need to loosen the strap, the mesh pocket( which fits an iPhone 11Pro in silicon case) shifts pretty high on your shoulder, so becomes more awkward to access while wearing. The strap can switch to either side, so my lefty kids can switch to their preferred side. My only recommendations, the key leash could be a little longer& the “ secure ” inside pocket is hard to get my medium sized wallet in/out. A zipper that went end to end would be easier with maybe a clip& loop to secure it. I like the external clip that secures both the water bottle from falling out and the front zippered pocket from theft. We ’ ll be road testing this in a few weeks at Yellowstone hiking.

Bought this for snowboarding in the winter. Last season my regular tube froze and I could n't stay as hydrated as well as I would 've liked. Insulation material wraps snug around the tube and it was a simple swap for install. Spout cover is durable rubber. Keep in mind that you wo n't be able to use a magnetic trap with this anymore.

I work as a ski instructor at local ski hill. I 've been using the Camelbak Bootlegger pack 4 days a week for a couple of seasons. I use these for bike packing on any bike where I put some sort of bladder in a frame bag. I tape the receiving end to the handlebars or aerobars. These are far superior than any other magnetic clips I 've ever tried, where the hose inevitability becomes loose and starts flopping around. With the camelbak design it's super easy to release and to clip back on and I 've never had it accidentally come off. Great product!

Their design allows for easy access to hydration while on the move, making them ideal for both casual outings and intense workouts. Many packs also feature compartments for storing essentials, enhancing their functionality during activities.
Choosing the right size hydration pack depends on the duration of your activity and how much water you need to carry. For short runs or hikes, a smaller pack with a lower capacity may suffice, while longer excursions may require a larger pack with more storage for water and gear. It's also important to consider the fit and comfort of the pack, as this can affect your overall experience during activities.
