I found a Callaway Chrome Tour X a few weeks ago, and decided to play it on the next hole. WOW! These balls jump off the face of all clubs like lightning! I bought the bulk pack which should last me the rest of the season. I played ProV1x before and can say the Chrome Tour X surpasses the ProV1x by miles! Ball speed( on GC Quad) increased by 15mph. Absolutely the best ball I 've hit in a long time! And the plus with the bulk pack, you get 1 dozen FREE!!!

Second time at Golf Galaxy and the store offers so much for a golfer. Great selection and great staffing. I purchased the new Chrome Soft to see if there was a difference from my older Chrome Soft golf ball. I enjoyed the flight off of the driver, I need to measure to see the improvement but it looks like there is a distance improvement. The ball flight from the irons was great and the action on the green acted the manner in which I wanted it to. The putting was great in that it had a great feel and roll, resulting in me making 8 one putts on my first round.

I read a lot of reviews about this 2026 version. I am a senior trying to reclaim some lost distance. I found one reviewer, youtube, who found 5mph increase in ball speed over the previous version with his driver. So I field tested it during a round against the new 2026 AVX. The 2026 chrome soft, for me, was consistently at least 10- 15 yards longer than the AVX. Sort of fits with that 5mph increase review. I am happy.

I 'm a 9 HDCP, so certainly not highest- level, but I can play a bit on a given day. So many quality balls to choose from, the reasons I love Chrome Soft are the feel primarily, and I really feel it holds up with all others in terms of distance and accuracy. I have no issue getting it to flight high and come down softly in order to hold greens. Again, I love the soft feel on and around the green too. Great stuff.

When selecting women's golf balls, consider features such as compression, spin rate, and cover material. A lower compression ball is often recommended for players with slower swing speeds, as it can enhance distance and feel. Additionally, look for balls designed to provide better control and accuracy around the greens.
Women's golf balls typically have a lower compression rating compared to men's balls, making them more suitable for players with slower swing speeds. They may also be designed with specific colors and patterns that appeal to female golfers. Understanding these differences can help in choosing the right ball for your game.
Beginners often benefit from using golf balls that offer a balance of distance and forgiveness. Look for balls that provide a soft feel and are designed to minimize spin, which can help with accuracy. Additionally, brightly colored or high-visibility balls can make it easier for new players to track their shots.
Yes, women's golf balls can be used for various types of play, including casual rounds, practice sessions, and competitive play. The key is to choose a ball that matches your skill level and swing speed. Many women find that specific designs enhance their performance on the course.
When selecting golf balls for varying weather conditions, consider factors such as temperature and wind. In colder weather, a softer ball may provide better distance, while in windy conditions, a lower spin ball can help maintain control. Additionally, look for balls that perform well in wet conditions to ensure consistent play.
