[ Having purchased the Quantam Max driver that commemorates the 250th anniversary of our country ’s foundation, I was extremely happy with the performance I experienced when I put it in play. My past experience with Callaway ’s generational productions in drivers and fairways suggested that I would benefit from their technological enhancements. Appearance was appealing, first of all, and sound and feel at impact were definitely pleasing. Finding the adjustment settings proper for my swing using the OptiFit 4 adjustable hosel took some experimenting as I wasn ’ t familiar with the new system. While not the biggest fairway wood in the Elyte Line, this is certainly the longest hitting. Deceptively long to a point that I found myself 15+ yards beyond where I usually hit my 3- woods. For it's size, the 3 wood is forgiving than advertised. And being a Callaway fairway wood, it is also easy to launch the ball off the deck. And that's the key... being able to easily launch the ball off the deck is one advantage this fairway wood will have over a Mini- Driver.

I tested this out at my local golf shop and this was the hottest off the face would I 've ever hit my entire life. If I had some money saved up, I would dive straight in and get the three wood with a stiff shaft, but I think I 'm gon na have to wait until the next generation when this generation lowers in price no matter how bad I want it. The reduced contact with the turf actually makes a huge difference for me at least. The launch monitor was showing great results and I could feel it even without the launch monitor. The ball is popping off of the face like it was nobody's business and compared to the G4 40. I felt that this club had a better feel and overall weight distribution, as well as as I simply prefer the set up look of it. If you have the money, I would highly recommend this, it is certainly on my wish list.

Approximately nicknamed the Mini Mini- Driver. Why you ask? Ball speeds are ridiculous! Forgiveness, on mishits, but especially on low strikes is on another level compared to every FW we have ever tested. I assume that is a combination of the Tungsten and the 10x Ai face. This launches higher than my tour issued Smoke Ai Triple Diamond, flies farther, and is light years more forgiving. Callaway absolutely nailed this design! My advice to you is to go up in loft, meaning if your FW is 15*, get a 16. 5* Elyte Ti because if you don ’ t, you will create a new gap in your bag. This club is a unicorn head similar to what the Triple Diamond Max head has done for Drivers. It ’s truly the best of both worlds. Go get fit!!! Do not buy blind, this club is different than what is in your bag.

I ordered the TD 5w with Aretera ec1 blue shaft upgrade on launch day. This is the best feeling fairway wood I ’ ve hit in a very long time. The ball comes off hot and the new weighting system is great on low face strikes. The Aretera shaft is very smooth. I like a smooth blue profile shaft and will probably have an Aretera in the driver sooner or later.

I was able to test the Triple Diamond Elyte and WOW! I have been blown away by the performance of this club. For being a `` triple diamond '' model this club is extremely forgiving, both in the fact my mis- hits still have a lot of ball speed and consistently have smash factors over 1. 45, and for the fact they curve a lot less than previous models I have owned. The Tungsten Speed Wave has given me a lot of confidence in being able to pull this club on par 5's and knowing I 'll still get good height even on my not- so- best strike. Very impressed with the forgiveness built into a lower spinning head, and really excited to keep gaming this club. I loved the 3 wood so much, I bought a 5 wood to add too!

The TD 3w is something special. Callaway knocked it out of the park. I came from the TD Smoke 3w and this thing fixed 1 thing I struggled with on the smoke and that is off the deck. The step sole is legit. The sound, feel and explosive face is primo. Best 3w I ’ ve I ever owned and I ’ ve only got 3 swings with it. I tend to struggle with getting comfortable with this spot and it was instant with this club.

I bought a slightly used demo Elite 7 wood and I love it! It ’s equipped with the Mitsubishi chemical Vanquish shaft. This is a first for me and I highly recommend it. The only negative is that the demo club is not equipped with an adjustable hozzel. No a deal breaker though as I use the factory settings as my standard. Overall it ’s a good deal and the club is fantastic. Don ’ t know why I took so long to put it in my bag.

I prefer fairway woods and did not like my 21* hybrid. My misses are generally to the left with a hybrid and with this UW 21*, I now have a slight fade and has a better launch angle. Feel is soft and satisfying. More forgiving than anticipated. Flies as far as my 5W but easier to hit so have so more tinkering I have to do. Might have to do a 17* UW as well! 21* UW- 1/4 '' and Graphite Design CQ- 7 Stiff shaft

Wound up with a 17* and 21*, replacing a 3- wood and 2 iron. Both were incredibly easy to hit for me, which was quite surprising because I ’ ve never been a strong hybrid/wood player.
