I wanted a club to replace my 2 iron for long shots from the fairway into a par 5 or for tee shots on short holes where a 3 wood was too much club. I was happy with the club as i started getting used to it, but absolutely love it now after this weekend's regular skins game with friends. 225 yard second shot into a par 5, picked it clean and solid and was thrilled to watch the ball hold the flag like a laser. One ten foot putt later, my first eagle in a long while! Love this club for this purpose.

I bought this SIM2 Max 5W club about a year ago and have played about 30 rounds with it. It is easy to hit from just about any lie, dispersion is fantastic and distance is great. I can hit it arrow- straight or fade/draw it at will. In all honesty, I hit this club better than anything else in my bag. I retired my PING 3W because I hit this just as far but with far more accuracy and better stopping power when I try to go for the pin on a long par 4 or a par 5 hole. I love it! Thank you TaylorMade!
