I am recovering from a right foot Achilles tendon rupture surgery. I have been in a boot for 3 months. I at first needed a sturdy shoe to wear on my left foot to give me support and a little height to get close to matching the boot height. Today I get to wear shoes on both feet but still with heel lifts in my right shoe. It is all working. Great support. The soles are firm, which I love. I don ’ t like soft and mushy. They also look terrific. I will be able to( have to) wear them as I dress for holiday functions. I have medium wide feet and they fit just fine. I hope XTRATUF never stops making these. I recently picked up shifts at a restaurant in my town that has stairs! As someone who is quite familiar with the hospitality industry, loves a clog( to the point of my friends making fun of me for it) and is used to the added height and comfortability of one, I needed something I could quite literally `` run '' up& down stairs in. I purchased these to wear with my steel toe tennis shoes for work, I have used them for about a month now at the time of this review. They are good insoles, I wear a 12 wide and had to trim them at the toe end to fit comfortably. I gave 4 stars because I feel like the price is a bit much for what I got but I needed something better than your average shelf insoles. I will say that my foot pain has been much less than with the factory insoles I replaced. I walk around 10k steps a day on concrete floors. We will see how many miles I get out of them, as for now I ’ m satisfied. Good product.
