Bought the new Elyte Irons recently and have played a few rounds and been to the range several times. So far i am happy with the overall performance of the irons. I am still dialing in the distances and accuracy of the shots. When I get the sweet spot, these fly. The mis- hits are pretty solid too, mostly shorter but still playable in most instances. I think once i get my swing and time in with these, they will be well worth the purchase. Great looking irons, nice weighting. Nice crisp sound off the face. Based on fitters recommendations, I went a bit more upright so I am struggling a bit in getting my chipping down as the different lie has affected the short game shots a bit.

I just got into golf about 9 mo. ago- I 'm currently a 27 hdcp, and struggled to hit my 7i 130- 140yds previously. I was looking to get out of my previous Callaway Edge box set that had graphite shafts. They became too light for me and I wanted to grow into a new set of irons as I navigate swing changes and proper technique. During my fitting I did n't have a specific brand in mind, to be honest these were n't even on my radar. After testing out 4- 5 brands it was a tight race between the Ping G440's and the Elyte's. I found the Elyte irons were exactly what I was looking for. They check all the boxes: look, feel, and sound great. These irons have a slimmer profile compared to most game improvement irons out there yet offer an insane amount of forgiveness. They definitely have a softer feel off the face, almost like they 're forged. I got my goal yardage from these clubs and it was a done deal after that. Ironically enough my set arrived a few hours before my first tee time of this early season. Quite the way to break in a new set of irons. They did GREAT on the course considering the actual course conditions for mid march Midwest weather. I got a 50 degree and a 58 degree about 2 months ago. I ’ m still trying to figure out distances with the 50 degree. The 58 degree is incredible- I have confidence to get out of any bunker. Yesterday I got out of 3 bunkers all awful situations and landed them within 8 feet of the pin. I missed all the par saving putts…. mercy. I purchased these about three weeks ago and they have longer shafts than standard and they make each iron about 4 degrees stronger than standard. However, Callaway has done an excellent job in balancing them and even though stronger lofted, my seven iron goes 175 yards. I 'm 65 and it's been a long time since I seen distance like this. I have been playing the Max Fast 7i through G for about two months and about 20 rounds. I am 77 and have lost swing speed over the last decade. These irons are much lighter than my prior set. There was a short learning curve to develop the rhythm and swing speed that worked with the lighter clubs. On good strikes, these clubs helped me gain 10 more yards with each club. Off center strikes do not lose that much distance, so my iron game is as good now as when I was much younger and fit. These clubs have a thin top line and compact heads that instill confidence at address. I couldn ’ t be happier with my purchase.

Each year I found the improvement to the Callaway family of irons constant improvement. I must say these are the best set of irons I have hit. I recently moved to CO a couple years ago from San Diego. I struggled in the altitude holding greens, especially in the late fall and winter, since I used a lower spin ball and lower flighted clubs. These clubs increased my spin and my ball flight so even my 4iron in has chance to hold. They also cut the turf really well so you can feel the speed in and out of grass. Also, the feel on these are amazing only rivaled to Mizuno's IMO and the new Taylormade P7CB which I had an opportunity to try. Lastly and most importantly, these clubs are very consistent. I owned Taylormade P770's and I would get a lot of hot low spinning balls hitting my 6, 5, 4 irons. These irons output stable and consistent based on your strike. The offer some help in the heel but most of the help in the toe miss, I 've found. Highly recommend these. I am a 7. 2 handicap. Hit these clubs and fell in love with them. They look fantastic and have a nice feel without the harsh sound that some hollow body clubs produce. They are strong lofted so they are about 7- 8 yards longer than my previous set but still have enough spin and height to stop on the greens. I was torn between this club and the T200 and considered go with a mixed bag but in the end decided to go with the full set of T350's. My dispersion and distance control have met all my expectations. One thing to keep in mind is if you like to work the ball in either direction this may not be the right club for you and I would look at the T150's. Spin numbers and descent angle are good but not in player club territory IMO.

Ended up deciding on these, have played 3 rounds with them, and have already seen a big improvement in my iron play. This Iron/Hybrid( Max OS) set is working great for me. I ’ m 62 and benefit from the oversized head design along with Regular shafts. My only concern is the pricing. I work at a golf course so I got my set as a gift from the head pro, but I could never afford these. I realize the amount of R& D that went into these and the hope to recoup monies but the only people buying these are rich, old guys. The rest of us lug around old clubs… All in all, great golf clubs as Callaway is known for, but truth be told, they still need to pay their tour pro ’s.

I did a combo set with the p770's and p7cb's. I went 8 iron thru pitching wedge for the p7cbs. They are very easy to hit, and I do n't think these irons are limited to only low handicappers. You can feel mishits, but they are not overly punishing. Very easy to hit draws and cuts. I might even end up swapping my 7 iron to the p7cbs with as easy as they are to hit.

Hopped in the bay and hit the ZX5 MK2, ZX7 MK2, 243 Pro, 245 Pro, Cobra King Tour. The ZX5 was all around by far the most consistent. They all had nice feel but the Mizunos were just a little too hot for my taste( especially the 245; it's def for distance) and did n't spin as much. The ZX5 spun most, had the steepest landing angle, and best distance dispersion. I 'm coming off a players iron from several years ago, which I hit pretty well, but the forgiveness and consistency of these is very apparent.

I ’ ll start off by saying I ’ m an 8 handicap. I probably should have bought the Ai200 irons but still at this point, forgiveness is more important than workability. I received them within 5 days of ordering, which was super quick. Took them to the range and hit each iron a handful of times. Played my first 9 holes with them yesterday and for the second time in my life of playing golf, shot even par. I ’ ve got more confidence, contact feels solid and I ’ m gaining about 10 yards per iron compared to my old irons. I couldn ’ t be more happy and excited to keep playing with these irons. If you are debating wether or not you should buy an Apex set, DO IT!!!

I purchased a set of AI300 irons at a price too good to turn down. I currently play a 21 Apex and after seeing multiple reviews decided to gave the 300 ’s a try. Are they long? Yes. Are they forgiving? Yes. Are they for me? Not really. I am 65 and hover between a 3- 5 handicap and for what I am used to with the Apex 21 ’s they are just a little too big, have more offset than I like and frankly are crazy long. The 300 6 iron goes almost the distance of my Apex 21 5 iron which sounds great but the gap between each club is more than I want. Yes it feels great to hit a PW 135 yards but not when I want a 125 yard shot. I sold them and went back to the Apex which are not a long but enable me to hit more precise shots with a better gap between clubs.

I have had these in the bag for 6 months. I 'm a low handicap 60 year old that decided it was time to move to graphite. Off set and top line have never bothered me if it's a little bigger. Absolutely ca n't say enough about these! Yes you can work the ball both ways and yes you can feel where you strike the ball on the face. Spin is still there. Unbelievable soft feel. In fact I 've played them all, forged blades for years and these feel as good if not better than anything I 've played! Home run Callaway! Moving into these irons you wo n't sacrifice anything you will however probably tighten up your dispersion rates.

Picked mine up just over a month ago. Great for distance and height, as advertised. I 'm an old hacker and these have helped more than four or five other sets I 've tried in recent years. And they are also accurate. Well, they are accurate when I do n't screw up the swing. I 've hit a couple of seven and eight irons that I simply could not hit with other clubs. Have also enjoyed chipping with them, once I got used to their hotter face. Superb clubs.

After taking a break from golf for about 25 years, only playing maybe one a year, I decided that it was time seeing as how I went to part time work after 31 years in my profession. After buying a set of Mavrik ’s and not being able to hit them after leaving the big box store, I went to a fitter with my mind made up with buying the 425 ’s and my local golf shop talked me into trying the 730 ’s and I am so glad he did. I ended up buying the 730 ’s 6- 50 degree and started playing them. All I can say is that I can hit them high, long( 10+ yards in every club), and straight. I ended up ordering the 5 iron to compliment my set as well as driver, 3 and 5 wood of the G730 Max ’s. I am now playing weekly with these and my game has improved significantly! I hope these irons don ’ t wear out anytime soon! If they do and Ping makes a better set of irons, if this is possible, I will definitely look into them but for now, I more than satisfied with the 730 ’s.

Many times advertising is more hype than reality, but not this time. The G730 is EVERYTHING AND MORE that Ping says they are. The player friendly design shines in all facets. Off center hits are more on line and center hits explode off the face. I am seeing 5- 6 yards more carry on average. Mid to high handicappers should STRONGLY consider this iron. I got these clubs about 2 months ago and they are fantastic. I am relatively new to golfing but have really gotten into it. Since using these clubs my game has improved significantly. They are great for beginner to intermediate women. They have a lot of forgiveness especially when paired with the Reva balls. I was previously using a Paradym set and while exceptional clubs, the Revas work so much better for my skill level and experience.

The 5 hybrid is my fave, the driver is a game changer for my distance and I LOVE all the irons. I have already started setting new PR ’ a for my scores and will feel comfortable joining tournaments with my hubby. Only upgrade I would make is the bag.
